New Starter Signature Moves?

That would actually make a ton of sense. Maybe Chespin Line's would be Nutshell though because it looks more defensive

 

That sounds like it could make sense.

Chespin's is the one that sounds especially interesting. I know these are move names you thought up, but still... There's been a theory going around that the Kalos starters will be based on character classes, like from other RPGs. Chespin being a knight, Froakie being a fighter [or rogue in some versions], and Fennekin, obviously, being a mage. The thing about that which makes it interesting for Chespin is that the typical nutcracker resembles a soldier, which, as far as I know, are what knights generally were during in the Middle Ages.

 

Something having to with nuts, at any rate, would make sense for Chespin, as it's kinda clear to me that its concept is based on spiny nuts, like chestnuts (from which his name is dreived). I wouldn't be surprised if Chespin becomes referred to as "the spiny nut Pokémon" in the Pokédex.

I agree that those are possible moves. It could be a surprise Pokémon has for us this time.

 

This makes a lot of sense, really. It'd be cool to see starters get signature moves, too, not just random Pokémon or legendaries. Hope we see this happen in-game.

 

It would be a neat idea and it would make the starters even more 'special' if they had a move that was only exclusive to them. Maybe the starters will only be able to learn the moves at a later level, making more people use them throughout their playthrough.

 

I would really liked to see the starters have signature moves. And I really like your ideas.
