Nintendo Direct Incoming - This is no April Fools Joke!

Still hesitant, considering the date lol. But I may still check it out, even if it does turn out to be a prank of some sort I'm a good sport about those things 8P

 

I'm hoping to hear about Nintendo's replacement plan for Nintendo Club. It's really upsetting that we won't have it anymore, but I have hope it won't die in vain.
Other than that, I'd love to hear about the plan for the mobile gaming market and the alleged new console hardware they've been working on.

I think that there has a very small possibility of happening--GameFreak tends to like to release Pokémon games on its own. Unless there's a customization to allow your avatar to wear a Mario costume

Anyway... I really want a new Paper Mario. Or more SSB4 DLC (Epecially Lucas ;~. Or confirmation of world creation and/or bosses in Mario Maker. Or more FE14.
Also, I'm quite good at predicting things. When I seen Tingle in Hyrule Warriors in the last direct, I yelled out "CALLED IT!" since I had predicted for months that he would be in the MM DLC. No-one believed me... but seriously, he debuted in MM, appears and is referenced frequently across the franchise (HW being a love letter to the whole damn thing), I thought he was kind of obvious. And I mean, AGITHA had gotten in before him, so lack of fighting experience was a moot point.
So, uh... I'm hyped. REALLY hyped.

I watched the direct and all I can say is disappointment. I was hoping for some type of game such as Pokémon, Zelda, or an actual Animal Crossing game so I can get on the hype train. Xenoblade looks pretty cool, but I'm not really interested in anything else really.

I can safely say my thoughts are completely contrary to yours, then...
By far the most hyped a Direct has ever left me. 200cc and DLC Pack 2 date for MK8? Awesome. Fire Emblem news? Awesome. But that Smash news.... good GOD, that was nuts! Mewtwo, we all expected. The other stuff, awesome. But when that new trailer came on and I heard the Love Theme and saw Ness... I think my body entered a new state of hype. Seriously, Lucas was the only character I REALLY wanted back, and there he was. Besides the fact he looks great in HD, his new alts are AMAZING (Masked Man? Boney? SOME RANDOM ONE WITH THE IRN-BRU COLOURS? ALL OF MY YES!), he has a badass looking new meteor smash (I think it's new, didn't play him THAT much in Brawl in favour of Ness- I can safely say that's not happening this time), AND there were so many MOTHER 3 references in his trailer! (At one point, Lucas with the Franklin Badge gets knocked over by another Lucas with the 'Masked Man alt', which is the evil looking one, holding a Beam Sword. I won't spoil much, but that's a BIG part in MOTHER 3.) And even though Shrek is probably going to take up 70% of the votes and not be in for obvious reasons, the Ballot is INSANE. Voted King K. Rool myself since neither DK or villains get much representation in Smash.
Just... it's too much... I don't think Zelda could have been expected after the recent statement, and Pokémon is still recent, so I don't think it had a good chance either.
