The non English Pokémon OPs and EDs from the anime often go overlooked, which is a shame because some of them are seriously. Especially the DP series has some of my favorite Japanese anime theme songs period. My favorites are Hikari's theme, Together (2007 and 2008, the 11th movie ED, the first OP of the AG series, the very first OP, this song once again from the DP series and perhaps my favorite out of all them together with Together (lol) High Touch! (2009), which is basically a 100% Pearlshipping song if you look up the lyrics and I am in fact a Pearlshipper >_> Of course Pokémon theme songs have been made in almost every language, but the only ones I've heard besides the Japanese ones are the Dutch ones which are literal translations of the English ones, with as https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0Z_qJItuHo]this one[/url] as an example of awfulness. They didn't even try to have proper grammar (seriously half of it is incorrect) and it sounds so stupid it makes me feel bad I speak the language and instead 'gotta catch 'em all' they're saying 'pak ze allemaal' which can be translated to 'fuck all of them'. What the actual heck.
What are your favorite non English Pokémon theme songs? What ones do you think are absolutely terrible? I'm curious :3

I don't think any of them are bad (most of them are better than the English ones tbh, except the original because "Gotta Catch 'EM all, Pokémon!), but my favourite would be XY&Z's opening theme, XY&Z. It's just so upbeat and catchy, and it's sung by Ash's Japanese vocie actress, which surprised me sinec the vocalist doesn't sound female at all.

A couple of the Japanese Pokémon songs I've enjoyed are: KISEKI(multi language), High Touch, and Advanced Adventure

Also the Japanese opening is really nice too, I have the melody memorized... >_>

I'm going to be honest, I love the English themes, but the Japanese themes are just better, because I think a lot more thought is put into them (it is a Japanese game after all). I'm a big fan of the Japanese theme for X and Y, I keep listening to it, pretty catchy. TBH, I like Asian music more than American pop music (not saying much, pop music almost always sucks).

    Out of all of them, my favorite is Hikari's Theme for sure! I'm definitely a big fan of its style, its catchy melody, and pretty much everything about it. I haven't really listened to many other's though ;w;

I think I might have lots of fave Non-English themes, mostly leaning on the Japan version. Please warned that my lists might get very long! Oh, and this includes a few of Pokémon movie ending themes as well.
    • OK! - Hot-blooded theme for Johto theme!
    • Advance Adventure - Energetic! 'nuff said.
    • Pokémon Symphonic Medley - Epic medley says for itself.
    • High Touch! 2009 - I think it's the most epic rendition of the song alone, and one of the most energetic song ever.
    • Natsumeku Sakamichi (Summerly Slope), the theme of Best Wishes Da! It's pretty catchy to hear :)
    • Takeshi's Paradise - Especially that part of "O-ne-e-sa~ n!" at the end.
    • Boku no Best Friend - A perfectly fine soothing song for the ending.
    • Maemuki Rocket-dan! (Face Forward Team Rocket!) It's like one of Team Rocket's themes in a way! *Sou~nansu!*
    • Soko ni Sora ga aru kara (Because the Sky is There)
    • Kimi no Soba de (Hikari's theme), it looks pretty catchy and good, fitting for Dawn's theme.
    • Moeyo Gizamimi Pichu - For some reason it has retro fighting game-theme in it, which is also catchy.
    • Kimi no Mune ni LaLaLa - Another soothing song which is perfect for the last DP ending.
    • Te wo Tsunagou (Let's Join Hands), the ending song for Best Wishes Da!
    • DreamDream - One of the best XY ending song ever, it even getting used as insert song for Serena several times!
    • Puni-chan no Uta - It's Eureka/Bonnie singing, and she sounds pretty good :)
    • Chisaki Mono - The ending song from Jirachi movie! It sounds so good that the tune and some part of this song gets carried over in the English movie too (and retitled as "Make A Wish").
    • ONE - From the Shaymin movie.
    • Memories - From the Keldeo movie.
