    Hey guys, thathyena here. In the style of omegle, I'll start with asl: 18, male, Canadian. I've been dedicated fan of the first two gens of Pokémon, but I wasn;t interested in the newer games until the dawn of X and Y. This year, local battling community developed at my school with all the new people playing X and Y, and I began battling competitively, discovering smogon by lurking on their forums trying to become the very best. I sort of stumbled on showdown by accident, and was an addict for a while. I actually prefer wifi battling, although my wifi teams don't follow smogon tiers, just a "no legendaries and don't be a dick" system. If you're ever interested in a battle, hit me up, and let me know if you see me stumbling around on the forums. Beyond Pokémon, I write, play guitar, game, and do parkour and rugby when I'm not doing homework :(
    Anyway, it's great to be here, and I can't wait to get involved!

    Welcome to Lake Valor! You seem so amazing! I also love doing parkour as well. There are a lot of competitive battlers on here so you're sure to find someone who will challenge you! I'd recommend you get 5 posts up ASAP to use the shoutbox because you get to connect with community a little better. Other than that, if you have trouble, you can always contact a mentor such as *ahem* Pariah. *ahem* (Pointing her out because her post is above mine.) Anyways, I hope you have an amazing time here since you seem super friendly and excited, and that's super rad. Enjoy!
