Is there anything (other than NSFW) that you hate drawing or never want to draw? I think we're all on the same page when I say I hate drawing hands. I always end up drawing them too small.
if it's at the end of an arm or a leg, I'on wanna fuckin draw it, cause hands and feet are hard and drawing feet makes me uncomfortable
Yes I don't really draw much anymore, but eyes were always a problem for me, especially if Im trying to do more than just slit or ot eyes like a Kirby or something
I don't draw, but the thing I hate spriting the most is feathery wings. Drawing all of the individual feathers is just very tedious and I'm never that great at it because of my lack of practice with it, so I end up spending a bunch of time on something that throughout the whole thing I'm confident will never look right. Very annoying and unfun all throughout.
I loathe drawing faces (especially realistic ones), as they tend to be quite… unpleasant to mine eye~
I don't draw feet. I also don't like to draw mammals much. If you look at my attempt at a horse your eyes will explode. Unlike most, I actually am okay with drawing hands.
The classic hands and feet of course. Horses and similar creatures are really hard to get the proportions correct on.
Hands, of course. If I can get away with drawing something while hiding the hands completely, or making them really blocky and basic, I'll do it. Every once and a while I'll put out a really nice looking hand, but those moments are few and far between. It's more luck than anything. I'm also not big on backgrounds. I just don't have a lot of experience with it, so it always looks different from the main focus of the drawing. That's why I usually have my pictures with completely blank backgrounds.
Feet have always been horrible for me. I can cover any weird face or hand stuff as an art style but feet? Hell no. Just blocks, if I include them in the drawing at all. It's a lot of kneeling on the ground or pet/Pokémon/bush conveniently placed in front
I feel like I struggle with a lot of the common anatomy bits already mentioned. Hands, feet, wings and faces. Another thing that I've found myself struggling with lately is breasts. I've been drawing a lot of female characters the past few months to work on my anatomy skills and it's amazed me how much trouble I've had with what seem at first glance to be little more than a couple of curved lines.
Hoooo boy where do I begin. Proportions will always be the bane of my existence. I can draw a human figure decently (if a bit stylized) but the proportions of things can easily make or break the drawing. The face is too smooshed, the arm is too long on one end and too short on the other, the legs are somehow too shapely for this character, etc. Maybe its not a big deal for other people when they see my work but I cannot overlook these details. Aside fro that, animals kill me. Im getting better at Anthro stuff but Feral animals always get me. They look way too cartoony in a way that a kid draws it and not a stylistic cartoony. Digitigrade legs are also my bane cause it always just looks wrong and broken when I draw them
hands? I hate drawing hands. Been practicing for years. Even when i do it right the first time, I hate it.
