NU to Uber

Because Mawile got a Mega Evolution that rekt everything.
Mawile became a fairy type too, and with Huge Power it became a beast with Play Rough/Iron Head/Fire Fang/Swords Dance/etc.

Mawile (nonmega) could still be used in OU and below though.

 

Mawile got a amazing ability called intimidate plus the mega evolution ability huge power.
With the sucker punch, iron head, play rough and protect moveset, it is perfect,
Also, its has great stats, even became a bulky sweeper.
Very good against a lot of Pokémon cuz of its double stab moves.

 

Mawile itself didn't really go up from NU to Ubers, it was the Mawilite that forced the Pokémon to get that big of a jump.

Breakdown:

Mega Mawile has two immunities (Dragon and Poison) and nine resistances (normal, grass, ice, flying, psychic, bug, rock, dark, and fairy). Most notably, it takes resisted or no damage from the widely offensive types of dragon, ice, and dark. Paired with only two weaknesses, this Pokémon can be really hard to take down, especially with 125 base defense.

Offensively, Steel + Fairy typing lets it deal with a wide range of Pokémon no matter what. At +2, Mega Mawile completely rips through everything, and Sucker Punch makes all Pokémon take a hard hit if they decide to attack. Will-O-Wisp is the only real bane of Mega Mawile's existence, yet that can be easily taken care of with a Substitute or Safeguard user.

 

Mega Mawile is just that amazing while being immune to dragon. It should honestly still be in OU imo.

 

I prefer to keep it in Ubers xD. Even if I like the idea of facing again that Pokémon it will be another looong discussion of "WHYs and HOWs" and then someone will say again "Why we don't put it in Ubers?". Mawile have many resistances and 2 immunities and a incredible Attack, it hits really hard if you are not prepared :/

 

Because apparently is has such great attack. I heard it can almost Ko anything if it SD's and of all the various sets it can use....etc.


However I agree with Judged. I never ever had a problem with Mawile before, and to me it's hard getting a SD up on it anyways (In my opinion.). And plus there are so many Pokémon in OU that burn and if you don't have a Pokémon with heal bell then you can kiss Mega Mawile goodbye, and plus I would think that would make the metagame a little more fun to me.

Well it all started in 6th Gen when Mawile went to Anistar City and touched the sundial. Then Iron Head, Power-Up Punch, Fire Fang and Sucker Punch started wrecking Pokémon. Oh and it has Huge Power too. Azumarill be jelly
