Filling space so as to avoid spoiling the answer on the Discord. Its not what you think it is. Or is it? *Dun Dun Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun* ....So hows the family? Alright we're probably good here....So. The Worst Pokémon Game Clearly this. Subjectively, one can dislike the main series games or spinoffs. Objectively, this is one of the most poorly thought out and executed games I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing. Anyone else go through this?
Imagine an overhead racing game. Where you have to slide the stylus across the touchscreen repeatedly to move through nonlinear tracks, jank design, music and genuinely bad gameplay. Thats Pokémon Dash
I've seen the game maybe once or twice in Gamestop, and that was a few years ago. Before I saw it, all I'd heard were negative things about Pokémon Dash! Never played it myself, but the clips I saw of people attempting to play it... woo, those were a mess. That GAME in itself is a mess. A trainwreck, even. I'm not sure if this will be controversial, but I think the worst I've played is Pokémon Sword/Shield. Yes, it has some fun mechanics, and it can be pretty fun, but the story feels lazy, the world has to load in as you're wandering the Wild Areas, and... god, some of the Pokémon designs are just awful. It looks like they were getting progressively worse over time. Another gripe I have about it, though it's sorta nit-picky, is I miss being able to pet my Pokémon! Let me give my babies some pats!
Never heard of this game, but honestly I'm not a fan of most Pokémon games outside the tradition formula of just catching, training, and doing gym battles!
Saw it was on the DS and I knew that was the terrible mechanic they would go for. The poor touch screens that were probably ruined by their hubris! My pick would probably go for Hey You Pikachu but its a broken game for babies so its kinda easy to pick on.
