What, in your opinion, are the weirdest words in the English language? Or, if you speak another language, what are the weirdest words in said other language?

For me, one has to be defenestration. We made a word for throwing people out of windows. I don't know why. But I sure am thankful it's around!

“Tsundoku” or “reading pile” refers to the act of buying a stack of books and never reading them. It’s an oddly specific term, but a useful one for procrastinators.

The, have, so, a. Why does the English language have so many filler words? The foreign language I learned often combines entire sentences into one word and many little words like "go to" is just one word.

These may not be weird, but they sound really fancy and me being not a native English speaker, their meanings are hard to remember too. Like, discerning, deception, cynical, prudent, sceptical, etc.

Defenestration? How about autodefenestration (throwing yourself out of the window)~?

There's also vivisepulture (burying someone alive), antidisestablishmentarianism (movement against the division of church and state), schadenfreude (pleasure at others' misfortune), heiligenschein (glow around a shadow), and many more~

As for Tagalog, we have weird words about disgusting parts of the body; read at your own risk~!

There's also those weird words for chair (salumpuwit 'buttcatcher'), bra (salunsuso, 'breastcatcher'), and men's briefs (salungganisa 'sausagecatcher')...
