We all had one card at some point, new or old. Pokémon cards have been banned from schools because of so many kids would get distracted with them! Now, old cards that have been traded and saved are becoming more costly and valued by collectors. Do you have any old cards that you think might be worth something? Which set was your first card from? Personally, I have a lot of the older cards, though nothing that has a very high price, a few 25-100 dollar cards if I was lucky, mainly just old 25 cent cards. I received first edition, base set, and jungle cards from my cousin as a kid but my first pack of cards was during the Delta Species set. The first card I pulled was a Shiny Mew, it has a lot of sentimental value to me.
I actually have some cards from when I was like 6. So those are 17 years old? I doubt they are worth anything though. They are all damaged in some way.
I have plenty of old Pokémon cards, some more valuable than others. I have a base set holo charizard but it isn't first edition unfortunately haha. I have a Shining Celebi card as well, back before shinies had that star symbol or were just holos. There are too many good cards to recall!
I still have a ton of old Pokémon cards. I've never bothered checking what the going price for them is, but I don't think I have any of the valuable ones.
I have this huge box of cards from 5-10 years ago and these weird shining cards that do damage like 43 or 72. I haven't looked at them in years...
I still have all the cards from when the first set got released, my favorite back then was probably the Charizard card which was really OP back then, now is just a joke. I'm not sure those cards are legit of they do weird numbers like that as damage since Pokémon cards have always done damage in 10s.
That does make sense. I have no idea where they came from, Mum just came home with them one day and gave them to us.
I have some old cards too, they used to belong to my dad. Even have some of the old Japanese Pocket Monster ones from a long while ago! And out of those, a nice, shiny Moltres.
I have a few older cards that are worth something, but none of my original cards. I keep mine in penny sleeves in a card box. My most valuable cards would probably be my dittos. My first card was a base set dodrio, it went through the was in 2000, but that card will always hold a place in my heart because it was my first.
