One year later...

It really doesn't feel like they've been out that long. Its pretty crazy that gen 6 is already a year old. In that time I have played over 700 hours of Pokémon Y and plenty of hours on my other X/Y games.

 

Fondest Memory was thinking that X and Y was going to be deep when it got to its postgame story. It almost got deep...sort of. xD

 

Fondest memory for me is spending hours upon hours, for several days, trying to hatch my very first Masuda Method Pokémon, for a friend. That friend and I had a falling out, and I had hoped the gift would help mend our friendship. I did hatch it and give it to him, but it didn't really work out heh. For some reason though, the memory of that is very dear to me. <3

 

This is a huge achievement! It doesn't feel like it's been a year though. Feels like just yesterday. I actually got the game on the 11th, so it's not the anniversary for me, but still I'm pretty darned excited that it hit a year old!

 

Why doesn't it feel like a year? Haha. My fondest memory is playing Pokémon amie with my main play through Pokémon. It was one of the things that gave me such an attachment to my Pokémon.

 

Most of my fondest memories come from playing over Wifi with friends. All the Wifi features are brilliant and they did such a good job. I still use the Wifi a lot to do battles and trades, too.

 

That year went by fast then Seriously, I have spent a lot of time playing Pokémon on the 3DS that I bought just for that game. And now, with OR/AS, I again bought a new 3DS just for those games, and the whole story will repeat again

 

Damn that was already a year ago
X/Y were amazing and they were pretty much the best way to make a first Pokémon main series game on the 3DS, seriously what more can you ask for in a first main series 3DS game? Although I think that OR/AS are gonna blow X/Y to pieces.

 

It definitely does not feel like a year since X/Y were released so my jaw almost dropped when I read the title. n~n;;;

But yes, X/Y brought in some great new features and mechanics even for someone who has been with Pokémon since the beginning. Not only did we make the transition to 3D but breeding and shiny hunting was made much more accessible to those who weren't looking to spend tens or possibly hundreds of hours breeding; ideal for a person like me, haha. I hardly touched any of these features prior to the sixth generation. The friend safari was another feature I adored as it's such an easy way to nab Pokémon you wouldn't normally find throughout the game (and who can say no to increased shiny rates + guaranteed 2IV Pokémon)? So that has something for pretty much anyone.

Its incredible how a year passes fast...
I finished the game, complete all the Pokédex with all Pokémon possibly to get and started to get a competitive team and sometimes i battle in Wifi battles or help people to get legendaries ^-^.
And now in 1 month OR/AS is coming, im pretty sure OR/AS will be played even more than X/Y.

 

One year already? Wow...

My fondest memories were learning how to battle and breed competitively, as well as playing with some of my very first Pokémon in Amie. <3

 

It's funny that it's been almost a year since the game's release, I've maxed out on X, got tons of Pokémon on it, and not to mention beat the game in 5 days (12th-17th) But I had a lot of fun and can't wait for how they continue 6th gen with ORAS

 

Wow! It's hard to believe a whole year has passed for the kalos region. o.o I actually have many fond memories with the x/y game play; however, my top favorite is spending time with my Pokémon in the amie. Being able to pet, play, and feed your Pokémon was amazing. I'm really glad that the OR/AS have brought it along as well.

 

XY marked my return to competitive battling, and my fondest memories were battling/trading with people at a VGC (which I didn't enter because I got there late, but it was still so much fun) and playing lots of really cool people at a League.
