Online Flash Games

Oh man, flash games were my life back in the day. Ever heard of y8, because that's where all the cool flash games are! They were a fun past time. Some of my favorites were Tower Defense and those awful dress up games. Every now and then, I play some Balloon Pop Defense because monkeys are cute. It's pretty fun.

 

Before I had personal access to the internet (this was 9-10 years ago), me and a buddy of mine would always play some online flash games after school. I had quite a fascination with them, for I'd always go to the city library and use their computers just to play flash games, even though you weren't supposed to do that. I'd frequent onemorelevel.com and mofunzone.com (when it was actually a tolerable site). I played too many games to remember, but some of my favorites were Hungry Mario, Mario Starcatcher, Jump, Super Smash Flash, Idiot Test, Spank The Monkey, The Red Button, Draw Play, and many others. That was just to name a few. To this day, I still play flash games every now and then. Good stuff.

 

Bloons tower defense *flips table* That game was my life.

 

I could practically live on Kongregate, but I mainly keep an eye out for RPGS

 

Gahh I used to be so addicted to flash games in the past. Y8 was pretty much my home page and I also frequented Newgrounds (so many adult games there lol). I don't particularly remember any single game I was addicted to since I chose whatever game I was attracted to, then a different game in my next session. It was a lot of fun, really

 

Addictinggames, NinjaKiwi, Stickpage and Armour Games were my JAM back in the day! Particular favourites being Territory war, Age of war, Bubble Tanks 2, Bloons, Don't shoot the puppy, Cake Tower Defence and The Impossible Quiz.

 

Chaos Faction was pretty good, it was high quality and the sequel was awesome too. I agree that Flash Games are an unjustly forgotten pillar of Video Game history. After all, the original Binding of Isaac was made in flash!

 

Has anyone played Winter Bells? It's so gorgeous and pretty addicting! I remember loving this game tons as a kid and am very, very glad it's still up. [:

 

Ah~ Y8. Those were the good old days.I used to play on Y8, Nitrome and especially Newgrounds.com. I haven't played flash games in a while, but one of these days, just for nostalgia, I'll probably get to one sooner or later.

 

I remember that flash games I used to play when I was really young were the Bionicle Online Games, mainly Mata Nui Online Game II and Voya Nui Online Game

 

OMG YES! I remember my Japanese teacher showed it to the class (I can't remember why though). I had fun playing it when we finished our work for the day

 

I used to play Flash games, but pretty much only at school. I didn't really find them all that enticing and I always prefered the PC games that I had.

 

Town of Salem is still my favorite! It's a variation of Mafia (which I enjoy playing very much), and it's an online game that's loads of fun. Others that come to mind are Bloons and Monkey Go Happy.

 

I've played some pretty silly flash games in my time, but overall I am not too fond of them. When you have pretty high standards for which games you play, sometimes way too high - these sort of lose their appeal, haha.

 

I don't have any "particular" flash game to call my favorite. But that doesn't mean i never played any that i'm fond of. Instead I will bring up back when I was in middle school, the one big site every kid would go to was Miniclip. Such a great site for just simple flash games and creative and fun ones too. Now that I think about it, there is one flash game I remember usually playing for the most part, and that is the Sonic Flash game. An incomplete project, that still is in my fondest memories.
