In both Black/White and Black2/White2, Opelucid City had a drastically different look depending on what version you were playing.

    Black / Black 2:
Opelucid City appeared futuristic and technology-based, with innovative buildings and an advanced feel to it. It had some intensely cool music to match.

    White / White 2:
Opelucid City appeared very natural and a little worn down. It gives off a quiet and relaxed vibe. The soft, down-to-earth music is fitting for the setting.

So, which version of the city do you prefer?

    Personally,
I definitely prefer White / White 2's version, as I have always preferred quiet, calm, and more natural places. Advanced cities with a ton of technology can make me a little overwhelmed. Both are really awesome, though!

At any rate, I like both of them haha. I can't choose between one or the other! I'd have to go with W/W2's though, since it looks more natural.

I like White 2's version. I like the color scheme better and looks a little cleaner. Like it looks like in the city, it is looks completely like it belongs in the middle of a forest.

B/B2's Opelucid City looks completely out of place and just...strange. It definitely doesn't look natural, and it looks like a plastic factory produced colorless toy houses and put them in the microwave for a bit. I definitely like W/W2's more, it looks and feels more natural, and belongs in the setting it is in. It also gives you a better feeling of walking on a town that has a history behind it and has held it's own against time.

Definitely W/W2's. The B/B2 Opelucid looks really unnatural and is colored.. oddly, to say the least. Those bright blues do not match their surroundings at all and aren't friendly to the eyes whereas the newer version is a lot calmer and more appealing. Can't believe that's what it used to look like.. ugh haha.

I honestly just really like them both! The fact that each version had an entirely different city layout makes the city very unique. White's version looks a lot more peaceful, while Black's version looks much more modernized, which kind of fits the whole theme of the Unova region! Both are great in their own way :)

You know what? I prefer B/B2's version of Opelucid City slightly more than that of W/W2. That futuristic vibe given off by those insanely cool blue-hued buildings with awesome high-tech doors as well as that funky music definitely caught my attention. Don't get me wrong, I love W/W2's version as well. That calm, tranquil atmosphere of the buildings and music is really lovely. It's just that B/B2's made more of an impression on me somewhat.
