    I caught a level 8 quiet, simple Numel doing hordes for the DexNav. I was shaking because not only was I excited but I was also terrified. Numel learns magnitude at level 8. Luckily, they didn't use it (and they did have it).

    Has the shiny chance gone up now? I'm seeing so many posts and people showing all the shiny Pokémon they have found, and its only been a few days.

    To be honest the same thing happened in X/Y - It's probably the same encounter chance as in X/Y.

    Today after feeling really bad I got my first Omega Ruby shiny, and my first fish chain shiny ever. I'm so happy that I got one at last and this brightened my day. I'm really glad. It's nature is kinda bad, but I still love Poseidon to bits. <3

    Shiny Reshiram has been one of my dream shinies for years, and I was extremely disappointed when it turned out to be shiny locked in BW/BW2. When I heard it wasn't shiny locked in ORAS, I was determined to get this beautiful dragon for myself.

    7,000 SR's and 6 days later, this guy shows up! I was so excited I couldn't stop shaking for ages, haha. My Modest Synchronizer worked, and his spread is 31/xx/31/31/xx/31. I got super lucky, I couldn't ask for a better first shiny in ORAS!
