Here I'll be posting my artwork, some finished pieces but mostly some studies for now, as that is what I'm doing mostly at the moment: studdying! ^_^

I have a deviantart and also a youtube channel where I will be posting some speedpaints. I havent finished my first video yet, but i'll keep you all updated.

My artist ''name'' is Nissenya by the way. It's elvish ^_^

    Uhm... Enjoy! :3

This is a rose I did a couple months ago, I thought it would be nice to start out with this ^_^

The first thing I noticed was the flower that almost looked like a picture. I had to blink twice before I realized it was a drawing, oops.
The second thing I noticed was that Bloom liked your post. I lol'd at that because it matches so well :3

That rose looks really great! Your shading is very delicate; I can only begin to imagine how much time that must have taken you to master. Do you also do different kinds of drawings?

That's beautiful. Like Megarai said, I blinked 2-3 times to realize that it's not a picture. That looks like a real rose. Amazing artwork!

Thank you!! @Megerai111, yes I do other drawings, I am now practicing my skills with fantasy semi-realism, so one day I can create some real Magic The Gathering Cards ^_^

This is a mermaid I did back in February. I didn't spend much time on rendering the colors, I was just testing new techniques.

Woah woah, hold up. You wanna be a MtG card designer?! My respect is increasing by the minute! I play a lot and, even apart from that, I have mad respect for some of the art design that goes into cards!

The mermaid's super good, too. You've done good work with giving her thick hair and neatly curling... Flippers? Fish-feet? Them things.

Having thought about it I'm pretty sure it's either Ocean-Shoes or Boaty-Booties.

Yes I do! I played alot a couple years ago, I still have a couple decks collecting dust on my bookshelf XD I should start playing again :P I even aim to eventually work at Blizzard or Riot but thats in the longterm so I'm not thinking about that now XD My first MtG card will be a huge milestone c:

And I love Boatie-Booties XD I drew a lot of booties today, coincidentally :P

These are some form studies I've done this week. Form studies are paintings where you just focus on the form and shape of non-existent objects, for the sake of praciticing with light and shadows without the pressure of creating a representative object like a face or a couch or a wand or something. It gives the painter more freedom because there are also no associations in the brain with the objects which can skew the image.

This one I did sunday night. It was my first study in a while, so the shapes are a bit boring. As I made more shapes though, they got more interesting, and as you can see, I ended with the top-right one which even has some detail in it.

The second one I did Monday night, with already much more complicated shapes that I first imagined in 3D in my head. My art tutor was very proud at these ^_^ I like how I did the textures and the cracks and stuff c:

Working at either of those would also be awesome. I hate to sound like a broken record but, seeing your new post too, you've got the goods. The 3D of it is astoundingly realistic, the cracks are great.

Okay so.. Last night I was planning to paint a koi fish. I was sketching and as a fun joke i added ears and whiskers because it had a cute face. I was quite surprised as the fact that it didn't look bad at all, so I went with it xD

May I present to you: Mouse-Fish.

For the first time in a couple years I made an attempt at painting a landscape, and I gotta say that i'm not disappointed :D I still have some practicing to do, but I'm very happy with the atmosphere and soft colors.

It looks amazing! Rough, yet, indeed, the atmosphere is there

Really like it, Oreo. It looks like a wild, almost supernatural landscape, shrouded in mists. The little figures on the rock are great. I could see that being shrunk onto a magic card, honestly. ;)
