Hey guys, I thought I'd make a tutorial on the signature that I made yesterday. I probably didn't explain certain things too well and I would say this is quite an advanced technique that I'm still learning, but I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have. Besides the render and the fonts used, you shouldn't need anything else besides photoshop. I didn't use my graphics tablet so this technique should be available to everybody who has photoshop.

Here is the before and after for the liquify step, since I felt the changes were quite minor and hard to tell otherwise.

Wow! That's actually really cool! Thanks for sharing that! I'm going to attempt this technique in the future. I love your tutorials.

I'm glad you liked it :) As I said, feel free to ask questions. But yeah smudging is all about experimenting and seeing what works and what doesn't. There were a bunch of horrible outcomes but I guess that happens with any technique.

Oh actually I just found a pretty great tutorial for a more simple smudging technique which people might want to try if they're getting in to smudging for the first time. It's made by maagg on deviantart and he has some great smudging pieces if you want inspiration :)

Nice one dude! As always, you never fail to impress!
Smudging is great, if you can pull it off.

Glad to see you work the craft well.
    *thumbs up*
