Hey there! This is the apology almost for my last ROM breaking. Over on my strategy Threat I'm starting an Elimination Storylocke! You can see it here. It follows the same prologue which was in my other Storylocke! 'll put it in a spoiler below. This Thread will be dedicated to my Story. However the reasoning will be in my strategy with the link above! So without furthur ado...

We begin this story with a meeting. This meeting is held in a weird place. A place which is spangled with stars wherever they look yet the place which they are sitting is dense enough to support the tables. All sorts of higher-up Pokémon sat, swam or stood around the extremely long, dark, mahogany rectangular table with red diamond-shaped tablecloths spread over it.

It seemed that it would be better suited in a medieval castle as per to Deoxys' bedroom. As you might have gathered, this is no ordinary meeting. Just like these things who are attending the meeting. Thats right, they are Pokémon. And these Pokémon are having quite an important meeting and I'll guess you'll have to see why.

"So we all know why we are here today. I expect civil discussions, I don't want to make the final judgement if things get out of ha-" Thats when he slipped quite comically into the air, all four of his badly designed legs flying upwards like it stepped on a banana. A resounding thud was heard for all ears to hear. The next sound was scrabbling as the Pokémon tried desperately to get up as fast and fluidly as possible without falling over. When the Pokémon got on what he calls its feet again, it cast a sidewards glance at one of the giggling Pokémon and hurriedly mentioned that talking about his foot problem was prohibited. "As you feel so strongly about this subject, Terrakion, you may start this debate." Terrakion flashed a triumphant smile and the two sitting to his left who were already burying their faces in the table.

"They need to go. Admit it. Not only are they getting more arrogant but they're basically repeating themselves! Have you seen the rockets! They're enslaving, maiming and killing us! We can't wait for a heroic trainer. Not this time. We need to fight back! Before too many are lost!" It exclaimed, hiding a script under the tablecloth. One of his friends' head had almost gone through the table.

One of the more patient ones spoke up next.
"That may be the case, but if one Pokémon attacks. Surely it will influence the Pokémon to get a little more rebellious. If we achieve a small thing the humans will take things too far and overreact. We could be wiped out. Yes. This needs to be stopped but I don't want to die just yet." She explained as other Pokémon nodded. This Pokémon has been the voice of reason at these meetings for a while. This is because Pokémon had been here a while, pondering over the topic whilst others came in. Then again, patience was all part of her job. She did stall after all.

"I disagree" a high and regal voice announced. The Pokémon turned to look at its owner. Terrakion muttered something along the lines of 'you would disagree little miss mega evolve...' The Pokémon heard what he said but decided to spare him, giving him a withering glance for now. "Humans have found out more about ourselves than even us! Are you going to give up all this evidence just because the circle of life?!" Terrakion scowled, Pokémon whispered in harsh, sharp tones and even if on the outside the Pokémon looked composed, on the inside she was aborting all systems and yelling at herself for making such a bold and stupid act.

"She's got a point" started a small yellow and silver one said. All eyes preyed on him instantly and he shuddered a small step back. A pink tail shoved him forward, the two Pokémon fought a silent battle for two seconds before he started again. "She's got a point. You could all have Mega Stones somewhere but we'll never find out. You'll never be able to reach your potential. Heck! We can reach a big potential right now thanks to items that they made for us. We both have the same scarfs made by humans Terrakion!" Terrakion looked down at his ocean-blue scarf with a bit of disdain. But only a bit.

Terrakion recovered fast though. A bit too fast however as he didn't have time to properly assess the next sentence to come out of his mouth. If he had the chance between saying this next sentence or giving in on the spot right there, chances are, he'd choose the latter.
"Yeah, but you're only 100's!" the Pokémon immediately stiffened and whispers washed over the meeting "You don't have as much potential as us"

The small one who had spoken had stepped back; his eyes wide as if a truth he didn't want to know had been confirmed. The pink one gritted his teeth and there was a distinct green glow piercing the watery body of another. However there was one that looked distinctly like an onion who was a bit more... Vocal.

"Excuse me? Are you saying that we don't have as much potential as your Highness there!?! You've made a massive mistake you talking boulder!" She cried, staring him right down. Everyone, including his siblings, joined the stare. Whispers grew into words. Words grew into shouts and before they all knew it. It was pandemonium.

The Pokémon at the head of the table knew better than to waste his breath and skipped over to two Pokémon that were keeping out of the fray.
"Sorry Mel, but I could really use you right now" he asked. The Pokémon known as 'Mel' looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
"The noise bounces off things, it'll hit you too" She explained, her ironically smiling face moulding into a concerned one.
"Don't worry about that" Said a voice behind them "I can freeze over your ears. It'll block most of the sound" They all looked at each other. He forgot how forgettable but powerful this Pokémon was.

"SHUT UUUUP!!!!!!" said a voice that physically slammed into Pokémon. All but one Pokémon did one of three things. They either got straight back to their chairs and sat down with the blink of an eye, Jump seven feet clean into the air or breathe a sigh of relief. Unfortunately for Uxie, who relied completely on her hearing. She got so freaked out that she flew straight through the dimensional wall that was supposed to be unbreakable even by god himself.

"Thats enough! I will make the decision MYSELF!" The leader roared as most of the Pokémon tried to look shame-faced. "We shall WIPE OUT These humans once for all!" He announced. Terrakion had to be elbowed in the ribs to stop laughing out in joy. A shout of surprise shout out of a younger Pokémon's mouth.
"WHAT? No! You can't do this! Are we so bad as them to wipe them out completely? Even the humans aren't as bad at this..." She trailed off when her gaze met the boss'.
"I expected maturity from your sister Latios." The Boss ordered.

Latios finched and glared at his sister. She did not like this one bit. They fought a mental battle, the monotone droning of who will do what of the boss in the background. He had to do something. He gritted his teeth and tried.
"What about this; We kill the Pokémon that have joined the humans. Maybe this'll teach them respect and the Pokémon will realise what they actually are. This'll please anyone else too." All eyes prayed on him but his expression remains smooth and as impassive as stone. People has been taken by surprise by his outburst and whispers were blown through the meeting but the more the people thought about it, the more they thought the idea was good.

And that's where this Prologue ends. And I could sum it up with all kinds of quotes as the Pokémon got back but the normally silent sky group summed it all up in five words thanks to a serpent. Those words were
"Well, Terrakion was a bitch"

I landed on a heap on the floor. Not the best way to start is it? I heaved myself up with added groaning sound effects and looked around. I didn't see any pokeballs anywhere and my heartbeat jumped up by two paces.
"Cameron?! Ola? Basil?!" I cried with a trembling voice. With jelly-like legs I scrambled to my feet and looked out at the alien landscape. I tried to think rationally but my brain was so scrambled up I couldn't think full-stop. I wracked my brain to slow down as black webs snaked across my eyes, pushing my head back into an uncomfortable and dizzy sleep...

Cameron!

I sprung up and flipped my wrist around to see a massive red welt glaring angrily up at me. Bloody Weedle. I staggered to my feet and hobbled as fast as I could to any sign of civilisation. There wasn't much. There was only paths from a forest, green fields and dust clad patches spread out everywhere. The only noise I could hear is the thumping of my own blood in my head. A flash of blue caught my eye and I blindly scrambled with untrustworthy limbs towards it. I didn't care who it was. I was going to lose consciousness soon and I needed help. I waved my stung hand at the person but all that greeted me was myself getting distorted in the person's body. I scrambled towards them and placed my hand at their torso but it just left a sickening cold creeping up my arm as it passed right through. The pain that greeted me rendered me unconscious immediately.

SSSSSSS

I pulled my arm back like it was on fire and hissed out in pain. I pinwheel rolled twice before jumping up and shaking my hand, howling and hopping like a mad thing. I looking at the back of my hand, I saw that the swelling of my hand had reduced by a great amount and I could see and distinguish things batter. I dropped to my knees and crawled to the water. I saw freshly flattened grass from where I was laying before. In my poisoned state I confused it for a person. A lumbering sound had come off to the right and a tall and thin man came waddling out.
"Are you OK?!" He called over as I walked to him.
"Yes, I'm fine thank you" I called back
"Good, I heard someone shout in pain, do you know who shouted?" He asked, looking around hurriedly.
"Oh, that was me but I'm fine now" I commented simply
"What happened! I'm a Doctor, I can help." He said as he started to rummage through his bag
"Oh, a Weedle stung me" I put simply again, flashing my Red wrist at the Doctor. "I passed out by the sea there so it stings like hell"
The Doctor looked at me with a concerned face "Was this the first since the sting?" He asked
"No, the second" I replied to the Doctor's shock
"Thank arceus you had your hand in the sea water, the sting would've killed you if not! I'm treating you here before the venom gets a second chance" he said, taking out a comically long needle.
"Are you kidding me..." were the only words I could say.

"Now. We have a dilemma here." The Doctor started when we wre in his home.
"Why's that?" I asked, still shaking my hand and hopping from leg to leg
"You see, the courts are considering making Pokémon training illegal. Pokémon are getting very aggressive. A temporary blanket ban on catching Pokémon has descended. You may not train Pokémon because you can't get any back." He announced. I froze, my muscles tensed up and an all-familiar dizzy feeling washed over me.
"I-I... Isn- Isn't there anything you can do?" I stuttered
"Well, yes, I have found a loophole. I can give you Pokémon. Ten at most. Unfortunately I have to decide because of the small print. Here they are, you choose yours and you can go on your way. Trainer card, please?" Asked the Doctor. I have it to him without looking in a trance. Looking at each Pokémon I decided. Ok. It's these 6.
"Nice and balanced! I like your Slugma, and Natu fits well. That Snorunt is underrated and will serve you well. That Scraggy will work well with Natu and Staryu is a good Pokémon! I'm intrigued on to why you picked the...

Battle music for the final

"Roselia..." He pondered out loud
"Because it's my favorite Pokémon." I replied
"Ah! Right! Ok. So from here you want to go down that route and into the forest. Once you get out of the forest you'll go past there into Santalune City. If you already have experience then you know how to battle in gyms, right?" He explained
"Yeah, I'm guessing that this is my disguise" I said
"Exactly! Also, it's been rush-rush-rush ever since I got you back! I never introduced myself! Just call me August!" He said, holding his hand out to me
"I'm Aaron Bradley" I replied, shaking his hand.
"Right! Anyway! You must get going! Stay too long and the Neighbors will get suspicious! They're a weird bunch! Have fun too!" Augustine said in a jolly manner whilst leading me out of his house as if he was hiding something
"Oh, I will!" I said, for once smiling.

"Chli Chling!"

The forest was quickly behind me I didn't want to remember that place and it got me sick just walking through it. I was through the route quickly, I needed that badge before I could fully relax. Sitting in the Pokémon center I looked out at the city through the window. Everything seemed so brighter, smoother, more... 3d... I thought about what to use in Viola's gym. I didn't know what type she was, nor what she lead with or anything about her. I rummaged in my pocket and brought out a Pokémon at random. [Member="Sofusninja"] was in my hand.
"Good Luck" I said to the Pokéball.

I could've sworn it was trembling.

"So! My latest Challenger!" Exclaimed Viola, her arms spread wide. "I hope you'll show me a new depth of the field! Or will you be done quicker than a flash?"
"You're a photographer aren't you" I asked
"How'd you tell?!" She asked, looking for all the world surprised
"Tofu, please, help me out here" I semi-sobbed as I chucked a Pokéball onto the field.
"That was a bit half-hearted! I'll let you know that I'm different to the gym trainers here. I can deny your challenge for today if you want."
"Night Shade" I responded
"Very Well..." Viola sighed, chucking out a Pokéball.

Tofu started whirring and a Dark aura cloaked it. A Smoke-like cloud drifted upwards, expanding like ink in water until it had reached a 2d tree-like size and shape. Two yellow things that could be described as eyes popped open with a thunderstorm-like crackle and a dark silhouette of a clawed hand shot out of where a mouth should be.
"It's just an illusion! Keep calm and beat it back with water sport!" Viola ordered her Surskit. I was taken back by how fast the Pokémon came back and a wall of water completely threw Sofusninja off his game.
"Bubble!" Viola cried, eager to get the upper hand on the battle now Tfu was stunned. The surskit projectile vomited an extremely large and fast stream of bubbles at Sofusninja barely had time to process what Viola said before bubbles slammed into the Pokémon with explosive force and made him fly backwards. I gritted my teeth, I needed to finish this thing off quickly but I couldn't make it slow its momentum down...
"Leer!" I cried. Tofu looked at me, confused with my outburst and I repeated myself. He turned around to see the Surskit upon him. "NOW! NOW!" I shouted and Tofu gave an intimidating stare with red-wreathed eyes at the surskit, surprised by this change in attack, it threw the Surskit off and both Pokémon and Trainer pounced upon the opportunity. "Finish them with a peck!" I ordered and this time Sofusninja relied instantly. Finishing off the bug with a peck.

"Return Sofusninja! YouHoney will take it from here!" I said whilst a red beam hit Tofu and Created a shell around it before transporting it off. "YouHoney! Help me out!" I shouted, Tossing a Pokéball out to the field like a Cricket Bowler.
"Good to see you have a bit more enthusiasm!" Viola Grinned "Vivillon! Show them why you're my ace!" Two Pokémon faced each other after some flashes. The Snorunt sat there, shivering and pulling its cloak around it even tighter. The Vivillon looked much more confident. It's Pink wings fluttering quickly and its antennae twitching, ready to finish what Surskit had started. They were ready, the trainers and Pokémon, even if one side didn't look as ready.

"YouHoney!! Powder Snow!" I shouted, the Pokémon paused before releasing a gust of freezing, snow-laced air from the tip of its cloak
"Block it!" Viola cried as the Vivlon instantly pulled its wings around its body like a sort of cocoon. the air hit the Pokémon but did next to no damage. "Good!" Viola shouted whilst fistpumping "Now try Infestation!" and I am here to say, infestation is the stuff of nightmares. The Vivillon's wings seemed to excrete some horrid, green gel stuff. It then proceeds to flap its wings really fast at YouHoney and little globs came off the wings at rapid succession and speed.
"Block it with your cloak YouHoney!" I yelled the Pokémon only had time to think if it was the right thing to do before it shielded itself from the blizzard of goo. "Powder Snow!" I cried and YouHoney opened his cloak and shot out a snow-laced hurricane with explosive force. The Vivilon just stood there, flying against the wind and taking it. As is waiting for something...

I missed it.

Shadows were enveloping YouHoney and I only had time to shout "CLOAK!" before they crawled all over him. I begged YouHoney to understand what I meant as the thing trembled even more underneath the ball of bugs. I could hear whimpering from under the bugs. I ripped out YouHoney's Pokéball from my pocket. Other pokeballs fell onto the ground and rolled around uselessly but I didn't hear them, I was too busy shouting 'Return' over and over, hoping that something would happen.

My sick, isolated mind forced me to watch through YouHoney's death getting eaten alive by these bugs.My mind played the furure; the bugs scampering off, its played the past; me shouting, scrabbling for my Pokéball, my mind rewound and shot forward. Words screamed through my head, I couldn't make sense of them.

CLOAK!!

"YouHoney! Throw off your cloak and use Powder Snow!" I Screamed at the top of my lungs. The struggling stopped and a black ball burst from the bugs. It opened its mouth and a silver gust of air slammed into the Vivillon and is crashed into the floor, pinned there by the wind, all it could do was give up as the first, thin layer of snow coated it. I found myself panting and my heart racing like I'd just done a marathon. I dropped to my knees. My eyes wide.

"I guess you understand now then." A voice said, managing to penetrate through my head. I just looked up. "Pokémon have feelings too, you didn't want your Pokémon to die because of the guilt you'll face. Keep it that way. Maybe you'll end up opening to them one day. You know, I was beginning to doubt my decision to use that move. I had to let you realize sooner or later though" she said, her voice uncharacteristically serious. Just the look that I could only give her for now had all the message in it.

I twisted the badge whilst looking through the window, letting the sunshine glint off of it. It was roughly the size of my thumb pad and shaped like a jewel encrusted beatle. I opened my case and it fitted in snugly it and carried on.

"Hey! You!" A voice came out. A young woman trotted along. "You're the person who beat Viola, right?" She asked
"Yeah. Why?" I responded, confused
"Well, I was watching your battle the other day and I couldn't stop and say nothing! I just wanted to say, let your Pokémon stretch their legs outside of battle once in a while! it might do you and them some good!"
"Er... Thanks!" I said, edging away towards a bright route.

I looked at the bushes that came up to my shoulder. The woman's words meant nothing. They shouldn't be floating around in my head right now, however I couldn't squeeze them out. I sighed and pulled out YouHoney's Pokéball. I paused. YouHoney was an Ice type. He wouldn't find flowers particularly interesting... I pocketed him and sent out a Roselia instead. After a flash, a roselia was sitting on the edge of the bushes, it legs dangling off the edge. It looked down with mild confusion then looked back up. Its face questioning. It simply shrugged before jumping up onto the top of the hedge and walking along. We just kept on walking for 15 minutes. It felt a bit like an awkward first date.
"So... How... are you Flauna?" I asked. The Pokémon looked at me a smiled, with a high-pitched 'Ro!'
"Good to hear!" I smiled, feeling a little awkward. "Erm... Do you fancy battling that trainer there?" I asked her. She smiled again and jumped on to my shoulder, I tensed up, but left her there. "Hey!" I called to a rollerskater. "Fancy a battle?" I called, jogging closer.
"Sure!" She said, "Go! Fletchling!"

"Flauna! Get the height!" I said to her, she understood almost instantly and jumped. The fletching may have been blindingly fast but Flauna was going vertically upwards and it beat the Fletchling easily. "Use Stun Spore to deter it!" I cried upwards. Flauna spread its roses wide and an amber dust flew out around the battlefield, obstructing the Fletchling's movement.
"Peck!" The roller Skater ordered and even though it was going into the cloud of dangerous Spores, it quickly carried out its master's orders. The Fletchling went into the cloud so fast that it ripped through the air and created a tail of Spore-less air behind it.
"Poison Sting!" I yelled and Flauna didn't even have time to think, peck made contact and she shot through the air. "Flauna!" I screamed. She gained consciousness halfway to the ground and flipped herself into a comfortable position before she landed safely on the ground. "Poison Sting! Go for the wing!" Two seconds later, Roselia was aiming a blue rose towards the fletchling and fired with surgical accuracy. It was down instantly.

"Stop scaring me! Jeez!" I said to her whilst smiling. Flauna smiled back. "You look like it's nothing but it scares me still! Just... be careful. OK?!" The Roselia gave me a look but I wasn't in the mood, I dismissed it and carried on.

I walked into Lumiose City, I turned right around and walked right back out again.

Take two seemed much more productive, even so, I felt myself shrink within the ranks of people all chatting and walking. The din of all the chatting and shouting was intolerable and I shuffled towards a quiet looking cafe, grabbed a drink that reminded me of home and sat in the corner furthest away from the crowd outside.

The sun was setting as I headed out for the night, the streets were moderately quiet when it was getting dark, everyone was in having tea. A warm yellow light glowed from Cafe Le Wow as people bustled inside it and the comforting tinkling of plates reminded me of a good meal. I started off again, smiling. I was still walking when the sky turned into a dark blue to turquoise. I looked up and paused walking. I breathed in the fresh air and exhaled a heaving, content sigh and kept on walking.

"Thank you for staying! Please come again!" The man says as I head out of the hotel.
"Er, no problem! Bye!" I wave and he waves me off. I turn around and it's like I hit a physical wall. People swarm around me and I staggered through the crowd, it feels like it's pushing against me, like a river, going to slam me against walls and shove me by a drain. I stagger through, sweat breaking from my head and running own me in streams. I hit a wall with both hands and grasp it with all my might, pulling my body close to it and out of the way of all the tourists. I tugged myself whilst I was clutching the building like some kind of Gekko with a wall fetish. I slipped into an open Cul-De-Sac with an arch. I sighed a sigh of immense relief and trudged out of the arch, not daring to look back.

"Please come again? No freaking chance in hell..."

"Carr! CARR!" A noise came out of no-where.
I sighed "Oh, for the love of-" I was cut off by two blue and dark paws shaking me violently, the creature's eyes wide with panic and help.
"Lucario! What are you doing with that trainer! He's not the one you're supposed to beat up! Its that poor innocent creature over there!" She cried, pointing to an extremely poor-looking gulpin whose bruises were covering its whole body. I felt a stab of sympathy.
"Er... hey! Sorry, can I ask the time?" I ask
"Oh! its- CRAP I NEED TO GO!!" She cried as she skated off. The lucario gave me one last look of utter desperation before disappearing in a red flash. I walked over to the Gulpin and squatted down. The Gulpin flinched at the movement but I said in a soft tone: "Shh, it's okay! I'm not gonna hurt you!" The Pokémon looked at me skeptically. I was taken aback at how many times I'd done that face. It reminded me of me... "Here, have some oran berries, I'll pick you up and move you into a place where people won't get to you." I gave him some oran berries and he downed them, I moved him behind an Oran tree and told him to rest. He did so straight away, I left quickly.

I only realised it was a Pokémon until I heard a couple talking about it. I was honestly surprised that the bridge could hold the weight of the thing, to give you an idea of the size, it was roughly the size of a small house. And probably double the weight. I recognised the Pokémon once I heard the name 'Snorlax' although I could confidently say, that thing was a breathing mountain. By now a small crowd had gathered around the Pokémon and there was hushed chattering. Suddenly there were raised voices towards the back, people turned at once and more voices were directed to a man in his late 60's, his hair already a bright white (probably from the stress) and his voice was raised in a deep, concerned but calm tone. He stood in front of the PokeMoutain and held both hands up helplessly, surrendering but also waiting for quiet. His wish was quickly obliged.
"Unfortunately, we will have to get out supplies from Lumiose for this spring!" He announced, his face both saddened but also bracing for the worse.

The worse was what the poor man got.

The explosion of voices was so sudden I nearly staggered forward. Almost the whole of Camphrier town was here and it seemed all of them had something to shout about this. The din of all the voices made my whole body clamp up and I was about to make an exit before the man held his hands up again, his face expressionless and his lips still.
"As you most likely know, the pokeflute seems the only instrument to wake a snorlax up. However, our money problems recently have meant we have to loan that exact instrument to out land owners, Shabboneau Castle. Because of this, we will have to bear it for now. I am deeply sorry for this. We have made the berry field memberships so you may grow or pick your own berries too. We will make it through our winter." The man announced. There was silence this time. It lingered as they let the fact that they were living on their own for the whole season sink in. Everyone suddenly missed the hippies. People started to depart until there were a scattering of tourists, chatting in loud, worried expressions. I looked back towards the man (most likely the mayor) to find he managed to slip away with the crowd.

As I walked back into Camphrier, the town that once reminded me of a cheery old man was now hushed and suspicious. Walking towards the castle, I saw the Mayor with one of his younger apprentices.
"Excuse me sir!" I called to the man "He turned around and I faltered, he looked so old and withered up-close, but he'd looked so confident when I spoke to him. "Er.... I was wondering if there was anything at all that would wake the snorlax apart from the Poke Flute" I asked
"Unfortunately not" he sighed "The tune has lead to a reflex for the snorlax to wake up since he was a munchlax. There's no way to wake him, it's more of a coma to a sleep..."
"Why would the owner of Shabboneau Castle take away something that precious" I asked. A shadow of annoyance and fury passed over the Mayor's creased face.
"Because that man thinks money more important than everything and anything else. He's a disgrace to the local community and frankly, I'm surprised people haven't run him out of the palace" The mayor spat.
"Just like any other politician then" I laughed quietly. The man chuckled.
"You've got good ears and a lot of logic. Keep that about you. You might find a big use of it later" The man said, smiling at me.

As I walked out of the old, run down castle,my mind had been made up. I looked over at the Castle palace towering over the trees.

And headed towards it with a feeling I shouldn't have known.

"That'd be £10 please" The dreary old butler almost moaned. I handed him a tenner "Hm. Normally people moan about that" The ruin remarked
"I've lived in Johto" I commented as if that explained everything.

The Palace was beautiful. There was no denying that. I looked around the garden, taking note of any place looking interesting. To anyone else, this would be madness, there wasn't enough time to think of a real plan. There'd me more holes in it then the moon's crust. But my mind worked differently. I leafed through ideas, taking in anything that can be incorporated into them in the garden in half a second. This cycle carried on as I walked aimlessly through the garden. I looked up to see a rapidly darkening sky. I headed back to the indoor area and walked around in a cycle.
"Excuse me!" A voice said, I jumped and pivoted around quickly, my heart pumping that tiny bit faster and louder "We just shut up! I'll need you to leave, OK?"
"OK" I said, trying my absolute upmost to keep my voice even. He guided me the way I came. I sighed a sigh of relief but kept it inwards.
"So, what are you doing here then?" He asked
"Oh, I-I'm here on holiday!" I stammered back, hoping my smile would cover the cracks.

A heavy hand fell on my shoulder and my blood did a whole lap around my body in a second. I froze and my hairs on my arm went razor sharp. The weight fell off.

No noise.

My head almost creaked as I turned round

No noise

I saw the navy blue jacket of the guard through the corner of my eye

No noi-

"RO! RO!!"
"HOLY BAJEEZUS!!" I cursed, jumping three feet into the air, and landing on my butt. Roselia was standing next to me, looking mischievous.
"Who's that?" a low male voice echoed up the stairs, I glared at Flauna and she understood. Jumping lightly to the banister at the left side of the room. She crouched and produced a rose, it took a split second to aim and mere milliseconds to enter the neck. The man's meaty hand flew lazily to his neck and scratched the spot where the thorn hit. He staggered two seconds later and then fell. Flauna didn't have time to look smug, she was already back in the Pokéball, I was late already, I needed to get back on schedule.

Jogging as silently as I could, I shot up the stairs and looked franticly. I didn't bother checking rooms, no. There were too many. The... The Top! Of course! It'd take the longest to take to! I pounded blindly up the stairs, I was losing time... My mind was struggling but managing to map out where I was going. I'd been here too long, one turn before another was just a blur now, my world was spinning, my mind- THERE

It was there, in a glass dome. It had an almost normal cream colour with little holes dotted in the neck. Before the top lay a wooden carving of a Pokéball. I frowned, I had an idea but it may not work. I was here though and if I lasted this long, I can last a bit longer. With a flash, a Snorunt was in front of me.
"Right" I whispered close to [member='YouHoney'] "Use Powder Snow on the glass" The snorunt looked at me but filled out its orders. The item seemed to have a blue tinge. I saw a glassy covering and I knew this was my time. I signaled YouHoney to stop and walked up to the glass. I pulled my elbow back and my fist pumped through the glass at force.
It smashed.
I sighed.
An alarm bell rung.
I Swore
YouHoney was flashed back into the Pokéball. The Steel door from back where I came was too risky. My plan was falling apart. There was only one other way I could get out of here.

CRASH!!-
I fell through the air and for a moment it felt like bliss. I'd always fancied the feel of weightlessness and I finally have it in such a dangerous situation, the contrast in my mind made it throw up a pitiful sense of peace. My mind clawed away at the paper-thin feeling and I hit the ground rolling. It bloody-well hurt and I had a horrible gash on my shoulder but I was alive. I sprang up and sprinted into the palace. A reckless idea to anyone but it was also the only escape route. I knew that. I pounded through the hallway, I had an idea of the place but it wasn't getting me out of here.
"Sandile! Bite!" A voice cried as I rounded the corner
"Venipede! Tackle!"
"Kirlia! Fairy Wind!"
"Shit!" I spat,
"Go! Guys!" I snapped, rolling my 6 pokeballs onto the floor. They were there, in all of their uncertain glory. [member='Blisca'] was the first to react. it let out a shout and all the Pokémon were snapped into action. [member='Sofusninja'] Forced me down the stairs. I looked back uncertainly but I saw that the team were taking them well, they had the typing advantage. I pounded down the stairs, my Pokémon just behind me.

There was a flash of cream and black and I couldn't do anything but look round. Jaw snapped round my shoulder, something crunched, I screamed. I slammed the Sandile in the stomach but it righted itself in mid air, I realised that there were at least six of them. There was a punch at my knee and I looked down to see Ganon staring at me. He was smiling, Flauna was there too. I looked at them one more time, with curiosity in my eyes. Then I pounded down the stairs.

I nearly ran straight into a metal barrier. I swore and staggered back.
"Etna, take care of this please!" I asked my Slugma. A pillar of flame erupted from Etna's mouth and hit the metal. The metal instantly started to get red and I had to step back to avoid getting burned myself. I saw in awe how the metal seemed to get more and more flexible until a small chunk fell in on itself. Like molten, liquid cracks, everything else soon followed and we were left with an (albeit hot) archway.
"Could you cool this down Aurum?" My reply was a water gun. As I sprinted through, a flash of grey caught my eye and I bent over. 2 seconds later, an awful weight nearly crushed my back. My bitten shoulder flared up again and I fell to my knees with a cry. A steel door seemed to crush the life out of me. There was another sickening crack right next to my right ear. A blur came out of no-where and the weight lifted, I rolled clumsily out of the way. Etna was there with Aurum, holding the door up. Etna barked something to Aurum but it seemed to hesitate.

Then it shot a Water Gun at Etna

I screamed for Aurum to stop but there Etna was. Encased in stone. Petrified. But Etna was smiling. I understood now, Etna wasn't dead, just changed into a pillar of basalt, able now to withhold the weight of the barrier, allowing the rest of them to get through. I picked up Etna then out of no-where a harsh bark rung out. My head snapped it the right but the object slammed into me. The furfrou snarled, then sunk its teeth into my arm.

{This chapter is very mature, it involves guns, blood and death. You have been warned}

I screamed and slammed the Furfrou with a barrage of punches. They did next to no damage but stunned the canine enough to slacken the grip on my arm. I shot out like a hyperactive worm and staggered away.

The thing was upon me in an instant and I hit the floor in a feeble dive to get out of the way. I looked up, there was just a dark corridor. No light.
No Nothing.
I ran into a door and recoiled, bile rising in my throat. I staggered out and Furfrou body slammed me. Then, the Furfrou snarled and leapt on top of me. My leg flew up and caught it in the midriff. It yelped and flew straight over me, hitting the wall. It was winded, but not for long. I sprinted down the endless corridor but the end was never in sight, just a black mist. Endless paintings rolled past me like I was on one big hamster wheel. I broke the cycle and weaved through endless corridors, the sirens still blaring in my ears. I saw some light grabbing as much of the darkness behind a doorway and I slammed into it, shooting out like a cannon shot.

I hit the grass and simply rolled over and over until I couldn't tell what was up and what was down. I could hear the sirens blaring and smell the smoke of one of my more daring escape plans but I couldn't move.

"So, It was you. A bit of a hair-brained attempt, but I'm actually quite impressed" a smug self satisfied and posh voice stated. I shuffled onto my butt quickly, too tired to use logic.

I was facing the barrel of the gun.

My body shot through the grass but the barrel stayed trained on me. I knew I was cornered. I saw Etna and Sofusninja in the jaws of the furfrou.

They weren't moving.

"I assume you saw my... Little cupboard, did you?" The man asked, smiling a sick smile. The thought of the cupboard triggered my bile and it rose like a water-fountain, I could just hold it back.
"You see, I recently had a... friend of mine to visit with legal reasons. And he was a man who was very good in the field of law, however, he had to stick his nose in places where it didn't belong. And he presented a bit too good of a case so I had to ask him to quiet down, you see?" He said, still smiling that sadistic smile
"You mean you killed him" I gurgled. Looking him in the face.
"now now" He said in a tone a teacher would say to a naughty Preschooler "If I were to say I killed him, I'd get into all sorts of legal trouble, so don't throw that around or I might have to quiet you down too!"
"Why did you need to quieten him down?" I growled, my bile eventually receding
"Simple! I have a lot more respected and loved... family and friends of mine of course they would love to share this quite profitable palace with them, but this palace is too small to share so I have to quiet them down as you say!" He said in a patronizing tone with a quick laugh on the tail.

A horror fell upon my mind.
"Aurum" I ordered. The man's brow was creased and he looked at me with worry, his gun not wavering
"Where's Aurum, and Blisca? Where are they." I said, my voice quickly getting gradually worried to downright furious
"Oh... They're being... Dealt with..." He said, smiling that infuriating smile.

Etna and I had had enough

The smog shot out of Etna's mouth like a pressure washer, engulfing the Furfrou in milliseconds and within half a second, the man was engulfed and choking up horrible gas.I held my breath I charged forward with renewed rage and energy and slammed he man 3 times across the face in a blur. Later I would look back on that moment with a sigh and a rare smile.
I heard a gunshot and I felt the slipstream of the bullet to the right of my ear. I ducked low and approached the shadow of the man, my lungs were burning now, begging for air. I slammed the man so hard that he dropped the gun and staggered back into a heap. Grabbing the gun, I cast a risky look back to check on Etna and Sofusninja, they had the furfrou sorted, I turned back to the man who had terror in his eyes. I studied his face, he was middle aged but looked like the result of an Avon advert, there was so much shine in his hair that if you caught a light on it, you could be blinded, there was so much moisturising and wrinkle cream that he looked as if he could squeeze his head through a doggy flap tailored for Dachshunds. However he could not mask the first few liver spots or the sagging skin. With terrified eyes, I realized he was just an old man, a crooked old man, but an old man.

He saw my weakness and struck.

For an old man, he was faster than a snake. He grabbed the gun and twisted it towards my head, trying to grapple my index finger to shoot. I body slammed him with my side, and we fell on top of each other. Young and Old, Talent and Experience, Might and Grace grappled endlessly. I scratched, we slapped, we spat but we couldn't turn the gun on each other. The Pokémon had long gone, hiding from the hail of bullets that now surrounded us. People started running up, wondering what the 'fireworks' was about. I wrenched the gun out of the man's hand and slammed my foot into his stomach, using him as a step pedal and backpedalling. He made a sound not too different to a squeaky toy and held the gun towards him with damaged and shaking hands. He looked at me and bared his teeth, then attacked like some kind of deformed Hyde. I could do nothing but shoot.

BAM!!

Silence

I stood there, the Pokémon poked their head round the corner. All that was heard was the wind. I looked at my audience.

And Ran.
