Overwatch has a special area where people can make their own gamemodes, and recently I've mainly seen 'Emote to get in' and 'ICU move U die', among others. These get real bland real fast, so if any Overwatch players have made their own gamemode, feel free to post it here and allow other Overwatch players to spice up the Custom Game list!
So my favourite type of Custom Game is the Raid Boss games, where one hero fights 5, but the one hero is incredibly buffed and the 5 are weaker. Usually it's a Reinhardt, Winston or Roadhog as the boss with Soldiers/Genji's and Mercy's as the 5 man. It's a lot of fun
I have a version of that called 'Boss Rush'. Each of the survivors have a unique ability only for them, and there are currently 4 selectable bosses. Maybe I should add Brigitte as a survivor character...
Those emote to get in modes are really cringey to me? But let's see, of the ones I've tried, I love the 'WWE' mode where you get Ults instantly and everyone's set to a random hero. The all Doomfist mode and Fly-noon are cool, too, and I love the Pokémon games when they actually work. With my own friends, we came up with a few ones; Ult-only Soldier 76 mode, Reinhardt vs Torb, and a Terminator inspired mode I came up with that puts Bastions against Torbs where you need to defeat 'The Machines' but it still needs balancing
@Reckless That Terminator gamemode sounds really interesting! A gamemode I have that is based off a movie is Predators, where there are two Sombra w/h no cooldown Invis vs. 6 Soldier: 76 with Biotic field cooldown nerf. It can make for some good showdowns on certain maps like Black Forest.
I've seen videos of that mode actually, being played on the Lijiang Tower Garden map. I'd love to try it some time.
