    Okay, okay fine.
It's been a while since I've attempted a Nuzlocke, so this should be pretty fun.

    Rules:
    • Can only catch the first Pokémon on each route. Dupes Clause is in effect, get 3 chances; extends to the whole evolutional line; only if there is a surviving member. Cannot use the dexnav.
    • If a Pokémon faints it is considered dead and must be boxed in Valhalla.
    • Shiny Clause is in effect. If somehow a shiny shows up, it can be caught but not used unless it is the first encounter.
    • Gift and Pokéball Clauses are in effect. Gift Pokémon do not count as the route's catch, the first encounter rule only comes into effect once pokeballs are obtained.
    • No legendaries may be used.
    • The Nuzlocke will be considered complete once all plot-based legends have been defeated, unless a wipe occurs before.

    Thanks everyone!! =D

    Entry 1 - Introduction Thing
It's one thing to be told that you're going to move to a whole new region the next week. It's another to be told you'll be riding in the back of the moving truck. Wasn't too bad I guess. I had my game and slept a little, but the ride was bumpy as hell and I definitely should not have drank both lemonades right after we pulled out of a rest stop.

Littleroot Town is really boring, in all honesty. I like Olivine City better, but Hoenn seems nice at least. A lot of water.

Dad gave me a clock. "Here as compensation for dragging you away from all your friends and to a new region have a clock." Okay. Thanks, Dad.
I think I'll go to bed. Mom wants me to meet the neighbors tomorrow.

Entry 2 - All the Beginning Boring Stuff
    Today was fairly interesting.

Woke up a little late and ended up missing a program about Dad on tv. Oh well, it's not like I can't see him when I visit his gym. Mom suggested that I go to visit the neighbors, Prof. Birch's family. They live right next door, it would be sad if I couldn't find their house considering the only other building is the lab. Seriously, where do these other people live?

Prof. Birch wasn't home, but Mrs. Birch and May were. I chatted with them a little, they seemed nice though May's visit cut short since she had to go catch Pokémon for her dad. Mrs. Birch suggested I go talk to the professor, but he wasn't in his lab. His aide said he was out on route 101. Dad always did say the prof preferred field work rather than sitting in the lab all day, which is understandable. Because really, who would want to do paperwork all day when you could be out catching and examining Pokémon?

I'll be honest, I didn't exactly imagine my first official meeting with a famed professor being me saving him from a rogue Poochyena. But hey, what can you do? I picked one of the pokeballs at random, and a Treecko popped out.
She was awesome. It didn't take her long at all to deal with the canine, just a couple Absorbs and it was running away with its tail between its legs. I guess it wasn't that tough stacked up against another Pokémon, but it was a little odd that it was so aggressive. Anyway, Prof. Birch recognized me as Norman's gift, and as an expression of gratitude let me have the Treecko. I named her Nasturtium. It seemed fairly fitting and I think she likes it.

The professor suggested I head up to route 103 where May was and have a battle. It didn't sound like a half bad idea. Ran into a Wurmple on the way to "Oldale", according to my AreaNav. A few Pounds and it was down. Nasturtium levelled up and we entered the next town.
If I hadn't seen a map of Hoenn beforehand, I would have thought that every single town was small with minimal buildings. Where does everyone live? Do they all just live in one house? Arceus, I don't want to think about that.
The people are great though. One of the Mart workers gave me some free Potions as a promotion, which are definitely handy. I healed up my Treecko and went on to 103.

The type matchup in the battle against May was unfair, but at least the Torchic didn't know any elemental moves. It was a quick battle, Nasturtium scoring a crit as the finishing blow and levelling up to 7. May seemed impressed, she healed our Pokémon and we went back to Littleroot.

Professor Birch gave me a Pokédex, which I can use to document what Pokémon I've caught, as well as identify some of the less known Hoenn natives. May also gave me some Pokeballs. Nasturtium is great, but I don't think she can carry me through the whole gym challenge, as awesome as that would be.

I guess thats about it for now. Though Birch did mention a new rule that the Pokémon League issued. Turns out the Poochyena wasn't the first case of unusually aggressive Pokémon, so now trainers can only catch the first Pokémon they encounter on each route to be on the safe side. They also highly advise being cautious while traveling.
    Great time to move, eh?

    -Jared

    TL;DR - please do it takes me a long time to write these ;-;
Got first Pokémon, a Treecko, got Pokédex, got Pokeballs. League issues announcement. Blah blah blah.
