Parodying

I actually did a song parody of a song parody of an actual song for my fanfic!
Other than that, I like to make different lyrics to songs, but I pretty much never do entire songs. I sometimes do a few lines, but that's usually all.

tho I do enjoy a good parody from time to time
like the ones that Weird Al Yacovic makes
he have some of my favorite parodies so theres that :T

 

I do like switching up the lyrics from time to time, but I think that takes away the message of the song (if it even has one).
Concerning parodys on youtube, although some of them are funny; most slander the actual artist which is not cool.

 

I love parodying songs! I've ranged from very mild, changing pronouns for "Lemon Tree", to recreating an entire song. I don't always parody the whole song, usually just a line or so. But mostly I use old songs, so nobody gets it.

On listening to parody songs, meh. I don't care much for it as I'm getting more into instrumental.
