Passion

I'm always driven to make a story to tell for people. I like being able to say "I went out and did something cool." Sometimes that involves me doing something stupid and dangerous, but I still come out at the end of it laughing. I don't want to live my life playing it safe, and I hate it when I see all these people doing cool things. It hurts my pride a little. I took up biking recently so I couldn't say all I did today was sit in my house

 

I strive to make small, unseen, yet impactful differences in people's lives. I like to make them see things differently, to think differently, to realise that the little tweaks or changes are what matter the most to them. The most satisfaction I acquire from moments like these in which people notice these small changes, be they in themselves or others, and not know or even think that I could have been at all responsible.

I like being a background player, gently nudging people towards greater things, helping them realise their goals and dreams aren't out of reach at all.

 

I'm not sure, sometimes. Some days, I think I understand what drives me, what moves me forward. Other days, I don't know what my passions are. Similarly to Eclipse, I enjoy working in the background. I feel a strong sense of satisfaction and pride when I make a massive change that nobody notices. When they say, "Hey, Madness, guess what awesome thing just happened!" and I pretend to not know and congratulate them, I feel complete. However, I also enjoy operating in the foreground some days. I'm the first to react when events occur. If I see someone who needs help, I'm the first to break from the crowd of onlookers and offer assistance. When I see someone harassing another person, I'm the first to sucker punch them in the jaw out of nowhere like WHAM TAKE THAT JERKFACE come to the victim's defense. Other times, I feel best simply sitting around with some friends and making dumb jokes.

To narrow it down, I think my motivation is as simple as knowing that I've done my best to do the right thing. That I took the narrow, high road. That I stayed determined and true to myself. I wouldn't say the feeling is anything exciting. There's no thrill to it, no rush of energy, no intensity at all. There is, instead, a calm sense of completion and wholeness. It's peaceful. I like that.

 

I can get myself fired up by finding a challenge I know I can pass, but not without some thinking. The border between believing I can do it and believing I can't is fairly thin, but as long as I'm convinced I can do it, I can keep going and going. I believe I have to get the best out of my brains because I'm a smart person, and that drives me to give every challenge a shot.
Other than that, I love to make people laugh. I have a huge imagination and I always blurt out whatever's on my mind, often to amuse others. I love their smiles and I love how they admire me because of my jokes. Being around people to make them happy with my jokes is really great!

 

i guess if i had to say what my grand purpose and thing that motivates me is, it's finding someone. there's nobody i really can fully trust and love, and my main hope is that if i just keep going i'll meet someone like that, or just some friends i can finally be properly happy with.

 

Seeing my family every day keeps me going. I'm very family oriented and close to them. I want to make my folks proud so I try my hardest to do the best I can, despite many setbacks I have.
