Ambient music for drawing/reading; stuff with words just distracts me and turns into sing alongs XD Any other times though, I like 80's rock/pop mostly
I listen to a lot of 60s music, especially rock, pop, folk, and girl groups from that decade. I also love: - Metal (Stoner, Folk, traditional, and 80s thrash arey favourite subgenres) - Rock (psychedelic, occult, etc) - Folk (esp artists like First Aid Kit) - 70s music - Electro Swing - Synthwave
I judge mostly on a song by song basis, but my favorites are usually showtunes (from plays, movies, or TV shows), classic rock songs, some instrumental tracks from video games, and occasionally some country or pop that's from a year before 2010. My favorites are also often mixes of different genres. For example, I usually HATE rap music and am not too fond of hip hop. But mix the two together in a musical called Hamilton and you added roughly a dozen songs to my playlist.
I listen to a hodge podge of music so it's kind of hard to pick. When I'm drawing I like to listen to softer music otherwise I just get a headache from concentrating on too many things.
Mostly just video game music of any genre. Though I do prefer full orchestral pieces over most other things, though.
