Pearls before Swine: Pearl RandomLocke

So I had this as a blog, but apparently the rules changed. I'm not entirly happy because I felt the blog was a better and more orginized way to view, but no matter.

So For those who don't know This will be a Pearl RandomLocke. Using the Universal Pokémon Randomizer... thing, I randomized types, Pokémon, trainer Pokémon, moves and items (I think I forgot to hit the abilities randomizer, but no matter)

I'll follow standard nuzlocke rules with a few conditions, I can attempt a gym twice, If I get wiped out entirely by the gym leader, (and only the gym leader) I may restart my file from the last save. It's a mercy rule yes, but it makes me feel better.

I played the ROM up to the first gym leader, but I had a problem and had to restart, I'm not going to re-add that story here, because it isn't worth it. Just know that when I refer to the Space Time Paradox, or the weird dream, that's what it is.
Now with out further ado.

Episode One: First Steps

So after waking up from the time space paradox dream, Radiant found her day proceeding almost exactly as her dream. Valor, her friend, led her to the lake front, and despite her mom's warning, right into the tall grass to check out a dropped suitcase. Inside the case were three Pokémon. Different from the one in her dream. There was a Nuzleaf, Shellder, and Piloswine. She chose quickly as the Starly descended on her, and grabbed the nuzleaf, who won the battle easily. Radiant and Valor took turned as the starly fell, and saw one of the gentleman returning to grab the suitcase. Embarrassed they admitted to borrowing a Pokémon. The guy, who said his name was Lucas told them to come with him. The met the other man, who they knew was professor Rowan. Radiant was trying to shake the huge deja vu feeling, as he told them to let their parents know, and then meet him in sandgem town.
Radiant went home and told her mom the story, and received a gift of running shoes for her disobedience, and then made her way carefully to sandgem. When she arrived Valor was already leaving and said something about the professor which Radiant missed as he took off. The professor gave her the nuzleaf and let her nickname it.

And so Alyssa the Nuzleaf became Radiant's first Pokémon on her journey.
Radiant ran home to tell her mom she was leaving, and accidentally killed the staru that she met, and after letting her mom know headed up to Jubilife City. There she met a gabite who after a bit of trickiness Radiant captured it.

Radiant carefully navigated the three trainers the second of which had a Dialga, giving her a nasty shock of remembrance remembering the tricky and terrifying battle in her dreams against Roarak, but it fell quickly. Radiant made it to Jubilife, and hitting two of the routes up, captured two more Pokémon

Welcome to Episode 2: Victory assured.

Radiant left Jubilife City heading towards Oreburgh City, picking up two new teammates along the way

Exploreing a bit found us a little treasure, which goes with the root fossil Radiant took from Szeth (which by the way is said by saying both the S and the Z)

I also fought the first kid in the cave that connects Route 203 and Oreburgh, but hit the wrong button. He had a Mewtwo

Radiant reached Oreburgh and explored the mines and found

Then Radiant began heading back, but while fighting a random Pokémon, Paisly fell. So Pattern immediately took her place, but Radiant hasn't taken time to train him.
Radiant went through the gym, easily beating the two gym trainers, then taking on Rorak.

As you can see Mollie Beast Moded the gym leader with Horn Drill and OHKO'd all of his Pokémon.

I wish I could remember, I wasn't paying enough attention and she fell to a Pokémon I don't remember. It was an embarrassing death with no glory

 

Short chap:
Radiant made it fairly easily back to Jubilife city, her team rejoicing at their first victory. She turned to head up to Floroma Town where she could continue her journey. Unfortunately Professor Rowan was there talking with some rather disgruntled gentleman with blue hair and weird outfits. Professor Rowan informed her that they were trying to get research information from him and asked her to deal with them. So Radiant decimated their team and moved on. in the ravaged path she met a new ally:

after surviving the trip she decided to spend some time training and relaxing, especially because she spotted a couple ore galactic goons in town
