Let's face it, games are great in all, but as soon as you've beaten them they can get... dull. Some games try to have as much content as possible, or they use dlc to add more, but you just end up beating it. So to alleviate that, you set personal goals. Clear out a random bandit wave in the fastest way you can, get the highest bounty, or complete a level without touching the ground

Skyrim is a big one; I got three, one is a bit of a game too. The first one is to pickpocket every character in the game, including the clothes they are wearing. Second is to kill everyone (kind of a duh). I only allow myself to do these after I've beaten the game and every single side quest in it. Finally the last one is a time based game. How long can I go without using the ethereal shout with a horde of continuing growing enemies behind me. What I do is I run around aggravating hostile mobs and npc's to increase the mob and then just keep running with them behind me. Every other shout is acceptable accept ones that calm enemies, or make you invincible.

Probably for me it's collecting every single item and doing every single mission and such in each Skylander game. You don't need to do this to get the platinum trophies, but it is required if you want that all important 100% completion in-game.

I took the same approach with the Spyro games on ps1; for Year Of The Dragon in particular, I'd try to get all gems and eggs on my first playthrough of a level, and I'd always go to the place where Moneybags would have an ally locked up first whenever I arrive in a new realm.

For Sly 2, I used to spend hours, especially in the demo, going around pick-pocketing nonstop. <3
