What is a quote you have that you live by? This could be made up by yourself, or something a famous person said, or maybe something you stumbled upon when reading YouTube comments. I have a couple of my own that, when I need it most, helps me get through things. "Life moves on, however slowly." "Everyone grows at their own pace, so don't worry if you're a late bloomer." "It's okay to be sad sometimes."
This was something my nana once told me (bless her soul). She worked as a school teacher long ago. "Always have patience. Even the rowdiest of children will quiet down eventually."
There are a few quotes/sayings that I try to live by and here are a few of them: 1. 'there is beauty in everyone, sometimes you just have to find it.' 2. 'the quiet one doesn't usually mean that they are selfish or rude, it just means that they are nice enough to not say what is on their mind.'
A belief and rule of mine I try to live by: "Most people are inherently good and genuinely want to help others, even if they don't know how."
I have a new one every week or so. I just take whatever ones I find inspiring. But if I had to choose, the C.S. Lewis quote in my current signature is in the top five.
I made some qoutes so here are they- "Do not care how you look like in front people who don't care for you and people who care for you will never think how you look like" "The more you fall down, the more you will learn how to walk carefully" "Be patient, today they are laughing, tomorrow you will" "Dont count your eggs till they confess" Last one is a joke one which I made while talking to kk XD
My most life-leading quotations are as follows: "Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle." - Plato "Men are like steel. When they lose their temper, they lose their worth." - Chuck Norris "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn." - Clark Gable's character in Gone With The Wind All of these I use as a guiding light to not getting angry/upset/argumentative under any circumstance. I am never unkind and I don't lose my temper, but when people try to change that about me, I keep my character by entirely disregarding those who would try to upset me. I see your accomodating encouragement via acceptance of negative circumstance, and raise you one positive lifestyle change.
"There is nothing that you're not worthy of." "The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all." "To give anything less than your best, is to sacrifice the gift." "Giving up on your goals because of one setback is like slashing your other three tires because you got one flat."
"What will be, will be." I'm a very go with the flow type guy, so I don't make waves too much. I just take things as they come and attempt to adapt from there. Unfortunately, that means I don't have any true goals or aspirations. Don't live like me, kids.
A girl's heart isn't something you can play with. This quote reminds me of how strong I can be if I wish. ' If you treat me like a princess, I'll treat you like a prince. But if you treat me like a game, I'll show you how its played. '
You gotta look inside yourself and say, "What am I willing to put up with today?" NOT! FUCKING! THIS! quote taken from that one game grumps episode where Arin and Jon play Sonic '06 and it goes bad
I have no idea if this one already existed or if I made it up: "I hate the establishment, the establishment hates me. It works out perfectly." I know the words "the establishment" is associated with the government most times, but I don't really focus on that meaning but more on anything going on in my life, like school and such. It's basically my own reminder to never blend in with everyone around me and stand out since nothing good will ever happen to you if you don't make an effort to make those good things notice you. I hate blending in and I'm fairly confident half the people I meet hate me, so like I said, breaking away from them works out for me in the end since it requires me to take action and separate myself from the bad things in life. that got waaaaay deeper than i wanted it to whoops
"There is only one thing that's certain in this world, and that's nothing is certain. If this is true, it is also false." "The Oracle said to me that I alone am the smartest of all the greeks, because I alone know that all that I know, is that I know nothing."
