    I've become aware of some tendencies in teambuilding while observing strangers' battles on Showdown and in general discussion of favorites. Some people like cute Pokémon, some like only bipeds, and some others lean towards Pokémon based off inanimate objects. Do you have a certain pattern or style in your teams, whether building for fun or for battle?

    ---

    A little while ago, I was trying to figure out what my team of six favorite Pokémon were based solely on their design and I found my six favorites visuals to be as follows, but in no order:

    [3D='steelix'][3D='feraligatr'][3D='cacturne'][3D='diancie'][3D='aggron'][3D='accelgor']

    One of these things is not like the ooootheeeerrrs. In my top six, five of them are menacing/scary/rough, then in the middle, oh hey, pretty pink princess diamond! I guess it's safe to say that as much as my favorite Pokémon are the kinds who feel at home in a fight club being held in an abandoned mine shaft, there may be some that reflect facets to my personality (get it? Like facets of a diamond?) that draw me into the flavors that would like to be in a Cuteness contest.

    I personally like quadrupeds, i.e the Eeveelutions, Suicune, and so forth. But Lucario also looks awesome. I think, in general, my preferences based on appearance are influenced by color(I like darker palettes), as well as how well they mesh. Overdesign is a huge issue for me, don't do it. And again, quadrupeds look really cool
