PETA is an organization against animal abuse, that believes games such as Pokémon promote brutality towards animals (they actually put out a game called Pokémon: Black and Blue which talks about things that have been proven wrong in the Pokémon universe) and other things like that. What do you think?

I think they have good intents, but they should do more research before bashing a game with facts that aren't even true.

Frankly, I find PETA's efforts to bash video games that they think are wrong disgusting. They use overly intense gore and disgusting images to try and make people appalled at games that don't feature any gore or even borderline harsh violence at all. If you've ever seen the Cooking Mama PETA version, you'll understand what I'm talking about when I say excessive gore and disgusting content. If you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor and don't watch or play it.

PETA is honestly just scrambling for attention in these. They realize that the games they are bashing don't have enough "cruel" content to make a case against them based in logical reasoning, so they instead just try to horrify people into believing them.

It sickens me, on many levels, that a national charity funded organization for the betterment of animals could have members that crank out games featuring such cruelty. Makes me wonder, if they can come up with games this overly disgusting and violent, should we even be letting them take helpless animals?

I really like shiny's argument even though I haven't heard much about this organiztion, that's just sick. Also, it isn't their business to snoop into our gaming, okay? Animal abuse may be a thing in real life, but it doesn't carry over from video games as much as they might think.

PETA has always been full of utter crap. They'll do anything, and I mean ANYTHING to gain a little publicity. They need to pull their heads out of their (you know what) and focus more on reality than fiction. Mewtwo had severely wounded and even (pretty much) temporarily killed Ash in the First Movie, where's action against that? In PETA's mind, humans aren't animals and all other creatures are far above us in every way possible. They should leave us gamers alone, and all other fictional materiel, and again, focus on reality. Maybe people will decide to respect them once they do.

Meeeeh.... PETA is like nintendo, doing things wrong (#shots #fired). PETA has a nice idea tho, but to tease games is not good for reputation, since games rarely courage to do things in real life!

I always knew PETA was against Pokémon from the beginning, and when they released their version of Black and White, as a Pokémon fan who's watched the anime, it had tons of wrong facts. But this is PETA were talking about, they don't do much research in the first place.

But PETA is for a good cause, and I understand that, but don't mess up my games. Don't.

It feels that PETA bashes on video games just to remain relevant, since they have been losing a lot of their attention as of recent. It just seems like we're waiting for the next big stunt they do, and we'll bite like usual. It's not a bad idea on their part it seems, as it does get them attention.

I don't think they care to. I just think they will make any stupid thing. The crazier it is, the more people that will notice and talk about it online.
