Do you prefer to buy CDs or buy Digital music, such as from iTunes? Or even if you like to buy vinyl records or cassette tapes.

I prefer to have a physical copy of my music. My logic is that if you lose your computer and it was filled with digital music, you would have to buy ALL THE MUSIC you lost AGAIN. Of course, I get stuff from iTunes, but only if I can't get a physical copy. In that case, I save it to a flash drive.

if I don't play pirate then I get all my music on physical copies. problem for me is that they don't always sell the music I hear in stores ): one of my favorite artist is completely unknow here in Denmark, so all my cd's are from Amazon.

Digital, because it's easier to keep track of (but that might just be me xD)

    Arrg, I'm a full-time pirate, mate!

Seriously, digital all the way! Much easier to download, and (very important for me), physical means breakable. I don't go well together with breakable things.

    Digital definitely.
CDs always come as an entire album, and I've never come across a single album where I like all the songs on it. If you just download it you don't have to get all the songs, and so your iTunes library is filled only with songs you like, rather than a physical library which would contain mostly songs you like, but having to skip songs you don't like is impossible to avoid.

Besides that, I hardly ever actually buy songs. I usually just pirate them. I only buy songs if I have an iTunes gift card.

About what WhitePhoenix said about the loss of a computer meaning you've lost all your songs: all companies have a simple solution to this. That is, your digital music library should be in something like iTunes, where you'd have an account protecting all your music. All you'd have to do in the case of losing a computer is download your software (probably iTunes) to another device, log in, and then you have all your music again.

I used to buy the cassettes (cause I'm old lol) and CDs, but these days it just takes up space in my drawers. I've been using digital for a while now. It's easier and if you ever need to, you can re-download everything you've ever bought. At least on iTunes.

There are definitely a lot better things to use, but I use clip converter. (Best way to find it would be to simply google "clip converter".)

What it does is it takes a YouTube video and converts it to an MP3 file. So you just go to a YouTube video of the song you want, and copy paste the URL to that video in clip converter and it converts it to an MP3 file. Download it to your computer and then you can just click and drag the file from your downloads into your iTunes library.

I prefer to have my own physical CD version, but I normally then download it onto my computer. I like to listen to CDs in the car, but then I have a digital copy on my laptop to listen to at school and so on.

All my music is digital. I use an app called iTube to download youtube videos onto my iPod as the only thing I listen to is VGM anyway. BrawlBRSTMs3 is a great channel to get songs from as they just post extended tracks.

Any YouTube > MP3 file converter will do :)
Just search on Google for "Clip converter" or "YouTube converter" or whatever, there are plenty.

I prefer digital music, but if it comes down to it, I will buy stuff off of iTunes.
