Physical Special Split

    Despite not being part of the games we play anymore, I'm still very curious to see if there is ANYONE out there who prefers the game without the Physical Special split. If so, why? I'm going to say that I do think it was better for some Pokémon without it, but for the most part, it's useful and gives Pokémon like Flareon a chance in the field.

    I think it's going to HURT when I play through Ruby. Regardless, I think it really gives Sneasel a fighting chance, with Ice Beam and Blizzard as physical moves. On the other hand, special Dark type moves seem to take that chance away, especially since it doesn't have access to any really powerful dark type moves anyway. That way it only really functions as an ice type (unless you want to wall a ghost, dark or psychic type attack), and in that field alone, Sneasel is outclassed. No wonder it was implemented.

    Ice is special in gens 1-3 not physical so Sneasel is really bad.

    As far as I know the new mechanics help out way more Pokémon than they hurt.

    Could have sworn taht Ice was physical. Anywho, can't get Sneasel in Ruby so on point, raelyl.

    I prefer the game as what ever it is as long it has a good story and there doing excellent so far.
