    Are you physically active? As in, do you try to keep in shape, or try to get in shape? Be it doing sports, cardio, weightlifting, dance, etc.
    If so, what do you do? How active are you and do you think it has a positive impact on your life? Share some of your tips on being physically active!
    If not, do you think getting physically activity is important? Is there anything stopping you from being active?

    I run a bit (fite me Bloomy), do pushups, situps and pullups, ride a bike and do some swimming every now and then. Haven't done a lot of weight lifting since my shoulder injury, but I'm gonna be doin stuff with a group starting next school year that involves weight lifting.
    I'd say the impact has been positive. I'm pretty athletic and that's always a good thing.
    I guess the best tip I can give for being active is Never Quit.

    I'm fairly active, I used to be quite a bit more active when I was regularly attending classes at a dojo, but I still exercise quite a few times each week. I do a bit of everything- stretches, weight lifting, pushups/situps, squats, taekwondo forms with blocks/punches/kicks, and various other stuff such as the occasional yoga and bike-riding. I don't do any running since I have a weak knee, but I do enjoy staying somewhat active. It's fun, and a good way to pass the time!

    Yes i am ver physically active.
    i go to gym 3-4 times a week and i do all muscle groups. I also run and ride a bike a lot.

    I have also done rock climbing, swimming, taekwondo and boxing.

    I have never regreted my decission to start movin and keeping my body in shape. I encourage all of you to start. Gyms are very good places to start.

    I'm certainly active when my job calls for it. On the off-season though, I get occasional exercise. Walking/hiking for the most part, and I'll take my bike for a spin if it happens to be one of the like, 250 days it doesn't rain.

    I am not physically active but thanks to a friend and cousin, I'll soon be forced to be physically active in order to lose weight and make my life better. It's something I am really looking forward to but in the past, I had to walk a lot because I had to use the public transport to get around and sometimes I swim at night to exercise.

    I really like hiking and running, as well as skipping however that sport is not good for girls... I also like playing badminton and netball! Those are some fun sports! I think bowling doesn't count in the physical aspect...

    I usually try to stay active, a few times out of the week I try to do some sort of physical sport, like today I played basketball with a few friends. I know a few years back I used to play basketball constantly, and do powerlifting. As much as I like to do all what I used to a few years back, I can't due to medical reasons, but I do some lifting, cardio, and some sort of sport. I can't go running a lot so I usually ride my bike some places 5 miles out and just have fun with it.

    I used to ride my bike for at least one hour a day to stay fit (and because there was an astonishingly beautiful path to ride on), but recently I've fallen out of the habit. I need to do that again, as I did really enjoy it. It was a fun and easy way to stay active, and my leg strength has dramatically improved from it.

    Every time I exercise these days, I'm put through far too much physical pain. My back is just killing me all the time now and I can't really do much. It kinda makes me sad because I love to exercise and stuff.

    I'm really interested in sports but haven't actually started doing any yet;; I'm thinking of joining the gym when I turn 18 though, that should be a good place to start. Maybe go to yoga classes or such, since that appeals to me quite a bit. I do exercise at home sometimes but I haven't done any in quite a while, ahaha;; Not even lazy I swear

    I'm not sure if it's different where you are, but where I'm at you only have to be 13 to join a gym.

    I think there're a couple things you can do at gyms while under 13 here but as far as I know you have to be 18 before you can get a membership and use the equipment freely. My friend told me such anyhow, perhaps it was only the gym he asked at P;

    I used to be a lot more physically active, but I still walk/bike/run everywhere I need to go based on the season. So I get a fairly okay workout, but I'm nowhere near the shape I was in last year. I kinda got lazy. Should get back into running more, that's the plan for the summer and next semester so I can go back to running cross country.

    I consider myself active, but the sports I do are kind of odd and don't involve much actual activity that would tire a person. Sports like Fencing, Archery and Boxing. I just don't generaly feel tired after doing activities.

    I do kickboxing at least three days a week.. that's all mainly, ahaha. Briefly went to the gym once a week at some point but that was hardly enough and I ended up lazying out. Kickboxing is much closer to home (15 minute walk) and a lot more engaging since you're practicing in a class with others. Might get back into jogging eventually.. but for now my priority is to actually start using the elliptical we have in the house. It's only been used as a coat-hanger since we got it, woops?

    During the winter, I'm not as active as I am in the summer.
    In the summer, I usually do daily walks for a mile and a half on the boardwalk in NYC. I love seeing the ocean day, and night especially on fridays. Fireworks!~

    I'm not that active, sadly. I do try to be, but I guess laziness takes the better of me. I'm not overweight or anything though, I always eat very healthily.
