Pikachu Costumes and New Pokedex Design

    Looks like more information has been revealed from the CoroCoro leak, folks.

    First, we have some pictures of Pikachu in various costumes. I assume these are related to Pokémon Contests?
    Hard Rock Pikachu (Red) and Madam Pikachu (Blue)

    Idol Pikachu (Pink), Doctor Pikachu (The one with glasses and a labcoat), and Masked Pikachu (Orange)

    Judging by the colours, I think the first image represents the "Beauty" and "Cool" aspect of Pokémon Contests while the second image has the "Cute", "Smart", and "Tough" aspects. I wonder if these costumes/accessories are exclusive to Pikachu? I surely hope we'll be able to put some accessories on other Pokémon too because that would be awesome!

    If they make those outfits Pikachu exclusive, I'll fly over to GameFreak headquarters, and punch every single employee right in the face.

    Seriously though, I really don't like Pikachu all that much, but the possibilities for other Pokémon are infinite. I can already see myself spending hours, actually multiple hours, just giving all my Pokémon different outfits, and they playing with them in Pokémon-Amie. (By the way, I'm already so happy that Pokémon-Amie is coming back). I mean come on, the possibilities are infinite!

    The new Pokédex design is kind of 'meh' to me. It looks like they took a huge step back from the technology used for the Kalos Pokédex. But hey, if it works it works!

    Also, your explanation about each outfit representing one of the five contest stats makes perfect sense, I didn't think of that yet :D

    I'll bet that pikachu is an event chu or in someway just different course she got a black tail tip that looks like an heart. Pikachus' don't have black tail tips. I hope we can dress up other pokemons too, but I got a feeling this is pikachu exclusive :/

    I really don't care for the cosplay thing whenever it'll be Pikachu exclusive or not. But I do like that they gave the pokédex the GB Advance's look, is like a tribute to the console they first got released to.
