I think this will be a very cool feature. It sounds a lot like the "Best Friends" feature that Animal Crossing: New Leaf has, being able to communicate with each other over Wifi. Also, it will make setting up battles with your friends easier as well.

 

Ooh! This could be interesting. Though, I never really used the connectivity functions of the Pokémon games since I don't really have friends to play with. Will you guys play with me?

 

There's a new feature called the "Holo Caster" which is also a part of the PSS.

Woah, this is really cool! It's basically an upgraded version of the Xtransceiver that allows you to call various characters in the game and talk to them

Also there's another new feature, "Shout Out", which lets you send messages without having to choose from default phrases like in gen V. It lets you type whatever you want.

 

YES! You can finally type something?! FINALLY!!! After more then 10 years!!!

 

The PSS really improved Pokémon communication, I'll say.
