    How do you think the player search system will work, considering it's likely to be compatible with X/Y? Do you think they will probably patch X/Y's search system to show new OR/AS icons? Let us know your thoughts.

    Hmmmm, i think there's gonna be an update in the future for XY to be compatible with OR/AS, since the only way to have Diancie in OR/AS, obviously you will need to move Diancie from XY to OR/AS.

    And the Online battles, i pretty sure they're going to be compatible too.

    It will probably work like XY,and XY will get a patch that allows seeing ORAS trainer icons and viceversa.

    Since its available and possible, I can't see Gamefreak not putting out a patch for X/Y to show the icons for ORAS. As for how the search feature will work, I'm not entirely sure. The safest bet would be the same as the passerby system if not similar, only with a different GUI interface that fits the theme of ORAS better.

    I hope it'll be the same too, X and Y will probably get a patch to make it compatible although it somehow won't surprise me if they've already made the game compatible with ORAS. Seen as they have had games with content in them needed for future unannounced releases (BW anyone? people dug through those games and found content for BW2 in them) but that was before we could just download a update from the eShop.

    I'm pretty sure they'll make it compatible with the X&Y PSS, I don't see any reason why they would change it. And the PSS in X&Y worked really nice, so they don't have to change it for me.

    I'm unsure. If they do make a patch to allow the games to communicate I'm assuming they will patch X/Y. If they decide to not, which would be a shame, OR/AS is likely to have its own PPS.
