    PM's Pokémon Black Nuzlocke

Alright so it has been a long time since my last nuzlocke, which I went solo for and never posted it(Pokémon Platinum). I said, why not try doing a Black nuzlocke since I transferred everything, so I did. I started this on the 23rd and today I decide to post it. With the bet I am having with a friend on when my starter dies, it's going to be a fun, and saddening nuzlocke. I'll catch you up with as much as I can in all this.
    Rules:
    1. You must catch the first Pokémon of each route/cave/place.
    2. You must nickname the Pokémon.
    3. Once a Pokémon faints, it is dead and must go in the dead box.
    4. Once all Pokémon are dead, it's Game Over.
    5. If you see a shiny, you must catch it and use it till it dies.
    6. Species Clause Applies.
    7. No catching/using Legendaries, unless it is needed to continue.
    8. If a Pokémon needs to be traded to evolve, you may do so to evolve it.

So I had chosen Tepig, thanks to the Random Number Generator to help, and named him Bacon. I caught a Patrat in the first route and named him Stupid(I hate them). Went to Accumula Town and got knowledge from the professor and battled N as well, which was pretty easy. I proceeded to the next route and caught Purrloin, who I named Kazumi(named after my RP Character). Later in that route, from bad predicting, I lost Kazumi. Putting her in the box, I kept going to the next city, Striaton City, which I went straight to the Dreamyard and got my Pansage, who was named Cilantro. Going and training a bit, I went to Cheren and had my rival battle, which was another breeze. Trained some more, then went straight to the gym and battled my way through. I had to sacrifice Stupid the Patrat so I could save my Cilantro and Bacon, and defeating the gym leader and getting the next badge. Going into the Dreamyard for the grass(since I didn't count Pansage as that route/place) I defeated Team Plasma, then got my next Pokémon, Munna, who I named Moon. Got the C-Gear and healed up, getting to the next route, I battle Cheren(annoying enough) and beat him, then beating Team Plasma again. I got a Pidove, who I named Vita; and in Wellspring Cave, a Roggenrola, who I named Quartz. Training a bit more, I moved on in the route, going into the Double Grass to catch a Blitzle, named Blitz. And where I am at now, is training for the next gym before going and getting that badge.

    Team:
    Bacon, Male, lvl 15

    Cilantro, Male, lvl 15

    Moon, Male, lvl 12

    Vita, Female, lvl 14

    Blitz, Female, lvl 8

    Quartz, Male, lvl 12

    Box:
    None as of yet.

    Dead:
Kazumi, Male, lvl 6, died at Route 2

Stupid, Female, lvl 11, died at Striaton Gym

My plan as of now is to train my Blitzle(as painful as it is) to lvl 18-20, along with the rest of my Pokémon, so I am up to level with Lenora. I will be getting some new Pokémon from the forest and possibly a fighting type in my next update. I will do my next update possibly after I get to Castelia City. Hope you guys continue to read this once more go up.

Is Gen V hard to Nuzlocke? I don't know, and maybe I want to do one myself.

Gen V isn't really that hard to nuzlocke to me, if you are really familiar to the game, it shouldn't be too hard.

So on this next update, not too much has changed with the team, except a few evolutions and catching some new Pokémon. Trained for Nacrene City's Gym, evolving my Bacon to a Pignite. I definitely had problems with the Hypnosis going around but found a good strategy around it and had no Pokémon die in it and getting the badge. With Team Plasma stealing the Dragon Skull, I went into the next Route to catch my next Pokémon, ending up being a Timburr who I named Clown. Walking into Pinwheel forest, I was hoping for a Venipede, and sure enough, a Venipede popped my way and I named him Mukade(It's Adamant!!). Defeating Team Plasma and almost losing my starter, I continued on and went to the bridge. Crossing it, I made my way into Castelia City and ended up getting lost with trying to figure out what to do. Trying to get into the gym, I helped Bianca and meeting Iris as well. Having to thwart Team Plasma, and surely again, I defeated them with no problem. After that was all done with, I went to Route 4 to catch my next Pokémon, who ended up being a Scraggy, naming it Killer(and it's Modest -.-). Training a tiny bit, I went to Castelia City's gym and destroyed the gym as having a flying and fire type, it was easy; evolving Vita to a Tranquil in the gym. After getting the badge and losing no one, I get a call and now I gotta battle Bianca again, so me wanting to be prepared for it, went to the Battle Company building and trained there till there were no more trainers left. Finally, I go to battle Bianca and had an easy win there.

Well this nuzlocke is going a lot better than I thought. I am going to do my next update when I get to Driftveil City and possibly the gym leader. This bet I mentioned earlier will be if my starter dies from 1st-6th gym period, then I will lose it, and if it dies during 8th gym-Champ, then I win it. If it goes and dies after 6th gym period and before 8th gym period, then it's a draw. The Loser makes the Winner a Pokémon of the winner's choice, item included, non shiny. So trying to keep my Bacon alive for this nuzlocke, but I feel like someone will die in the Nimbasa Gym and one in the Driftveil City gym. I swear if I just Jynxed(pokepun intended) myself, ima be mad.

Hey hey hey, next update is finally here. We got lots of new pokes, and things. After the Bianca rival battle, I am glad I went to the Pokémon Center before going on, because who popped up? Cheren did -.-. Took out his Pokémon once again with no problem. Made it through to the Desert Resort after going through route 4 and caught myself a Dwebble, naming it Rocky. As I went further, I explored the Resort and picked up every item and battled the trainers till none were left, then went inside Relic Castle and found myself Yurei the Yamask. Knowing I got nothing better to do, I head to Nimbasa City, destroy some Plasma Grunts and save an Old Man, Dandy!. I get a Bicycle, finally, and can run around places faster. I go to the Musical area and help convince Bianca's Dad to let her keep going and such. I explore everywhere around Nimbasa City to train, then head to Route 16 for the next Pokémon and also my next death, sadly. Minccino I caught in the route, but losing Moon in the process, naming Minccino, Niles. Sad that I had lost Moon, I added Mukade to the team. Went to Route 5 and caught Kazumi V2 the Liepard. Kazumi has returned! I went to Pinwheel forest to the newly opened area with Double Grass and trained a lot till I was up to par with Elesa. Which we got some new Pokémon in the team(Evolutions), Mukade turned into a Scolipede, Cilantro turned into a Simisage, and Blitz turned into a Zebstrika. Going to the Ferris Wheel, I find out who N was(Like I didn't know) and then take out his Pokémon with ease.
After that battle, I healed, then proceeded to the gym and made it to Elesa. I got kinda scared with this battle without a Ground type in it. Quartz was a big star in this match, Rock Sliding the Emolga's and then making the rest way too easy. I get the badge(woo!) and time to go to Route 5 for the next city. As annoying as Cheren is with these Rival Battles, it's just fun getting the experience haha. Battling him again once I hit Route 5, I beat him with again, no problem. I meet Alder and then battle with Cheren to beat the little kids, even though I went a bit more overleveled now. Time for the Bridge! Walking onto the bridge, I kept getting wing after wing, and then finally our next Pokémon to put in the box, Akuadakku the Ducklett(Aqua Duck in Japanese). I make it to Driftveil City finally, meet Clay and all that, having to go to the Cold Storage(not yet). I traded Niles for a new member, Redeye the Baculin, and then to Route 6 to catch my next Pokémon as well, Bambi the Deerling. Deciding to evolve Quartz so it evolves into a Gigalith and has more umph to it. Training Bacon as I get through the Cold Storage, I made it through pretty easily. Trying to catch a Herdier in Cold Storage, ended up killing it with a critical hit. GYM TIME! After getting lost in the gym a lot and training Cilantro from battling Ground types, I was surely ready for it, and boy was I almost wrong. Krokorok got beat pretty easily with Cilantro, then Excadrill came in, I switched to Quartz and was just Mud-Slapping it left and right. I didn't realize how many Hone Claws it used(2) until it Bulldozed Quartz to it's death, making it the 4th death now. Mukade saves the day and then Cilantro finishes off Palpitoad. Getting the badge, I felt glad I was done with it.

Man I had a lot to put in for today's update. Up next will be my travels through Chargestone, Celestial Tower, the Mistralton Gym, going through Twist Mountain, and then the Icirrus Gym. Off the thread, I'll be getting whatever HM's I forgot to get on my way through to now, so ya. Still deciding on which of the Pokémon in my box to replace Quartz with, so I wanna see what you guys would think. I'll take a small break for some breeding in X and then back to Black Nuzlocke once again!

Clown would be a good choice since you have an ice type gym coming up. I also support yurei being selected as well, just because I want to see it's potential.

I would use your Scraggy as Scrafty is both bulky and powerful. A great asset to a nuzlocke team.

I already got a fighting type in my team(Bacon) so I don't wanna have another flying type weakness right before the flying gym. Yurei can be pretty bulky and it's also a modest nature. Btw, I will probably not make my next update till next Friday/Saturday, since I will be using no electronics for next week(Going to camp). I would still like to see suggestions though while I'm gone, just to see. I could use the Dwebble but water destroys it(Swanna). So yeah, hard decision.

Sorry for the very long wait, as I've said in my status updates, I've been getting distracted with making new teams and new Pokémon. It took a few but I was able to make the next update for right now so I can get back on track.

So anyways, I had traveled to Chargestone Cave and got the TM Bulldoze finally. Going in, I caught Spidey the Joltik, cute little bugger. Having to chase down N while getting lost in the cave and battling Team Plasma members, I finally made it to the end of the cave and found N. Taking him down was no problem at all while training Yurei the Yamask for a while. After talking with Prof. Juniper, I walk out the cave and land ho, I make it to Mistralton City. Met Mr. Juniper, and then Skyla, sadly have to go to Celestial Tower before challenging the gym. Route 7 ended up being a dead route sadly, encountering a Zebstrika and then a Tranquil. Hopefully I get something good in Celestial Tower. After battling through a few trainers of route 7, I make it to Celestial Tower and encountered Amaterasu the Litwick. Almost critted it to death but it hung on to dear life and I caught it. Almost lost Yurei and Bacon on the way to the top, which would've been very crucial for the team for sure. Made it to the top of the tower after a few struggles and rang the dang bell.
Before battling Skyla, I decided to do a bit of small training in Celestial Tower since I'll be having a difficult battle on my hands. I finally went to the flying gym after training and it surprisingly went fairly well. With the team I had, I was very weak to flying. Lost no one and Zebstrika was the Star of this match. With the Flying badge now in my possession, I am now two badges away from being able to go after the E4 and Champ. Here's my next update of the Pokémon I have and the levels:

    Team:
    Bacon, Male, lvl 36

    Cilantro, Male, lvl 36

    Spidey, Male, lvl 24

    Amaterasu, Female, lvl 27

    Dead:

Kazumi, Male, lvl 6, died at Route 2

Stupid, Female, lvl 11, died at Striaton Gym to Gym Leader

Moon, Male, lvl 19, died at Route 16

Quartz, Male, lvl 32, died at Driftveil Gym to Gym Leader

    Old members:
    Niles, Male, lvl 21

With me cutting this one short, I might get through the Twist Mountain, Ice gym, Dragonspiral Tower, and maybe when I get to that mall I'll make the next update or the town after it. I'll be organizing time between learning to drive and play Twilight Princess as well, but I will do my best to get the next update up soon.
