Do you ever feel like they made some bad choices in Black and White 2? I know they put in a lot of old generation Pokémon, but some of the best are in to the latest parts of the game or even postgame... I sort of feel like they rushed it a bit and didn't leave space for some really good Pokémon earlier on. What do you think?

Nah, I think it was pretty balanced throughout. They gave you Riolu in basically the first area, a known fan favorite and Lucario is all around a "good Pokémon". If it wasn't for that than maybe, but I never felt like they screwed us out of anything or made bad choices.

I think it worked well. There were lots of good Pokémon early game like Riolu that Doima mentioned. You also got Magby/Elekid, Magnemite, and some others.

I was able to see my favourites in the Unova dex, so I was happy with it. It didn't really make a difference to me because I traded in a pre-made party, and the majority of them weren't in the dex. I think only two of them registered in the Pokédex before I beat the champion.

I think it was fine. With Riolu and Mareep available right off the bat and things like Elekid and Growlithe available a few cities in it seemed fine to me.

I thought the choice was good. The Pokémon at the start such as growlithe, mareep, and riolu are such good Pokémon you don't really worry about the others you might find. Then there are eevees in Castelia city.

The Eevees really made me happy. :3 I could always breed Eevees but there's just something awesome about seeing it in the wild. Or as wild as Castelia can get. XD

I think it is fine. They give you some good Pokémon during the early stages of the game, so I think it's balanced.

I feel like it was balanced, but there could've been some Pokémon found in earlier areas. For instance, Vanillite is found outside Driftveil in Black and White, but not in the sequels. Why?

Castelia is a very wild place, if you get what I mean. B)

All joking aside, I was oh-so-happy to come across those silly little Eevees to. I was so happy to find them that I used the situation to spend about thirty minutes in that grass just looking to get my first girl Eevee.

I quite like the way the Pokédex was set out in Generation 5. You also get a free Zorua which is pretty neat. I was lucky enough to catch a Riolu after about 5 minutes of searching early on and I think it was a great Pokémon to be able to catch in the beginning of the game.
