Pokémon Catcher Fundraiser (Trading, Gifting, Searching)

Approaching our Catcher's one year anniversary, we've always had certain goals in mind. Due to expensive development and the lack of a developer to code such ambitious new features, we've mostly been unable to achieve a lot of the special goals we had in mind... until now.

Recently, we hosted a fundraiser to gather donations for some new Catcher features which included Releasing (much requested), level limits and moderation tools to help fix glitched Pokémon. Not the most exciting, but still very important and especially so because it helped us find a developer we are confident can help make our goals and ambitions for the Catcher come true.

Now we feel it is time to begin work on our biggest features yet:
Trading, Gifting and the ability to search for Pokémon within your collection.

Undoubtably, these have been the most requested features by far, and we can see how important they are to the community. Unfortunately like most development, these are costly additions. Much work is required, and like with any job, our developer needs to be paid.

Therefore we are hosting a new fundraiser to gather the funds necessary to begin work on these projects.



The first big one is Trading, which will allow you to submit Pokémon for trade. There are several options to help ensure you can get what you're after. We'd also open up a special Trading Marketplace section so trainers can trade as much as they want with who they want!



Gifting is the simple (but very important) process of a user sending Pokémon to a user of their choice. This can be used to sell Pokémon for PokéPoints, or simply out of the kindness of your heart.



You'll also be able to search through your collection. This will help with finding Pokémon that can evolve, ones that can be traded and more.



Bare in mind these are all mockups in Photoshop, designed by Ryan. Actually coding them is a tough and expensive job, and we obviously only want the work to be high quality so you guys are getting the absolute best.

We realise it's a big ask, but we feel this is important not just for LV the website, but the whole community. Undoubtably there are a lot of possibilities with these new features and it can really shake the Catcher up.

Therefore we need to fundraise:

$465/$500

There is no timeframe on when this goal needs to be met, but the sooner the better. These features may take a while to code.

Once the goal is complete, we'll begin work with our developer and update you guys frequently on how progress is going! These features will be accessible by the ENTIRE community, and for donating you'll receive many perks.
