Pokémon Catcher Update 1.0

Happy 1st Pokémon Catcher anniversary, LV! Can you believe that on this day 1 year ago, we first revealed that wild Pokémon were appearing around the site? Well, it really has been that long and we've got a big update to celebrate.

Today, we are proud to announce the biggest update to the Catcher yet. We are naming it: Pokémon Catcher 1.0. Please read on to see all of the fun changes and updates we've got to celebrate this big milestone!

You can now release Pokémon!

Visit your Pokémon Collection via your profile page and you're in for a big treat. By selecting Pokémon of choice, you may release them, entirely deleting them from your collection! This has been one of our long requested features, so we're so happy this is finally here - and it's all thanks to you.

Just remember - once they're gone, they're gone. Lil Ekans isn't coming back. Until you catch a new one, that is! This is the perfect way to keep your collection free of clutter. We hope you'll enjoy.

Pokémon no longer go beyond level 100!

Got one of those weird Pokémon in your collection that's level 101? Well, we've taken the time to apply a new fix that means Pokémon can no longer level beyond 100, which was always intended. This is obviously the case in every Pokémon game, so we wanted to keep it consistent here.

Special Pikachu have arrived!

This month, Rock Star Pikachu has arrived on LV. Next month, a new Pikachu form will appear for you to catch too! We're planning to give you a chance to catch a new Pikachu every month, and if you collect them all you'll get a new shiny medal for your accomplishment. Good luck!

Unova Legendary Eggs Discovered...

The mysterious trio, Zekrom, Reshiram and Kyurem have finally been discovered in the form of legendary eggs. We've also learnt that you can find Meloetta and Genesect in eggs too! They won't be easy to hatch, though!

(Some) Kalos Pokémon are here!

Kalos starters have arrived on LV to celebrate the anniversary, with more likely to appear over the coming months. Additionally...

Vivillon Outbreak!

We've gotten word that Vivillon have started appearing around the site. They're hidden and if you catch them all, you can get a special new medal for them. If you catch them all, you may get a chance to unlock the exclusive PokéBall Vivillon later on. Keep an eye out for more news!

The Newsfeed

Before now, there has never been a proper way to keep track of all the upcoming Catcher news, reminders and more. Well, that is all about to change. Meet the Pokémon Newsfeed!
