Pokémon everyone loves... except for you

Charizard.

I fricking hate charizard.

Ask Arod why. I refuse to talk about it.

 

PIKACHU.

lmao I swear this is my least favorite Pokémon by far along with Ash Greninja.
It's not even for the design, it's just it being heccing EVERYWHERE. Other mons should get love too :c
Tbh the design is okay, if another mon had been the mascot instead I would've probably felt the same way about it instead.

 

Mimikyu creeps me out. However, I liked something I found on DA once, a Link Mimikyu fusion doll. It's still there.

 

Umbreon and Dragonite.

Umbreon is just... blegh. I never got the appeal of its design (like what the hell is even going on with those ears and tail???). Not into edgy things either, and Umbreon definitely gives of an edgy emo vibe.

As for Dragonite, well, it's a grotesque Charizard/Barney/noodle headed-lookin' monstrosity. Simple as that.
I'll never understand why Game Freak decided it would be a good idea to make it the evolution to Dragonair, which on the other hand is an amazing Pokémon with a very simple but elegant design.

 

I honestly don't care much for the Ultra Beasts. A lot of people like them, but I think they're way overdesigned, are generally very ugly, and are just... bad.

 

Riolu and Lucario. I just feel that they're too over hyped and their design does not appeal to me at all.

 

Charizard.

I don’t hate it, but I don’t like it either. It’s not particularly strong, nor does the design appeal to me at all.

 

With a few exceptions, the Pokémon of Gen5.

 

Lucario. I was never a super stoked about it. It just wasn't my type of Pokémon.

 

Ash-Greninja , i dont really like it , its a bit Overrated

 

Eevee. Just eevee, not its Evolutions, just eevee

Agreed 110%. Can we please chill with having Pikachu get so much special treatment? The series deserves a mascot, but let's chill a bit and spread the love. When I arrived at the Pikachu Paradise in Alola, I shivered with pain. I'm sure other people really found it to be a paradise, but I got my stickers, left, and never went back. I can't even bring myself to use Raichu because you need to train Pikachu so long to get all its moves before Thunder Stone.

What's the the hate on Charizard? So much hate I feel like I'm suddenly the only person who likes it. Wondering if it qualifies to be in an "everyone loves it except you" thread.

As for me... I don't like any of the Alola or Sinnoh starters, which seem to have large followings. Apart from those, I'm probably mostly in the consensus with most.
