Since earthquakes had been Al's biggest nightmare since her Mareep days, she hovered with her Psychic as soon as she could sense the waves of Bulldoze coming from Umo. The orb on Al's forehead glowed red, from which she shot a pale pink beam of energy with a bright white energy around it at the Houndoom right after a barrage of Benison's Close Combat and Hydro's Water Shuriken.

As Benison was dodging the Sableye that were defending the Houndoom, he suddenly felt the ground shake. He had heard the psychic warning, but he was too focused on dodging the ghost types to make sense to what he was being warned about. On the bright side, it seemed like the earthquake was also affecting the Sableye as well, forcing some of them to fall. The earthquake would have been a real problem if he were to loose his balance, but if there was one thing he was confident about, was his sense of balance and his ability to maintain it most situations. As the ground shook and quaked, Benison continued moving, utilizing his dance like movements in order to prevent himself from falling while approaching the now angered Houndoom. As most of the Sableye were being busy dealing with the earthquake, Benison managed to avoid the few Sableye that were there, and was able to close the gap between himself and the canine. Due to the Houndoom being quadrupedal, they was able to maintain his balance with much more ease. As Benison was about to attack the Houndoom with a cartwheel followed by a downward kick, the canine saw it coming and deftly dodged it by side stepping. The newfound opening was all the Houndoom needed, and jumped at Benison's arm and bit down hard, his sharp fangs clinging and refusing to let go. Not stopping there, the Houndoom decided to use their fire breath to cause as much pain as possible.

As Benison was caught off guard, he had to choice but to grit and bear all the pain. As much as he tried to shake off the offending canine, his fangs would only cause him more pain. So instead of shaking the Houndoom off, he decided to take the opportunity to attack the Houndoom while it can't dodge. Seeing as his arm was currently taken, he decided to attack the canine with a swift knee to their ribcage. The attack seemed to have been successful, and after two or three attacks, the Houndoom let go of his arm. The canine looked winded, and they were both wounded. Benison's current advantage was that he had some fighting type moves available.

Not feeling the jabs of pain from the shadow claws anymore, Umo undid her defensive position for a moment to get a better view of the battlefield. A few of the Sableye nearest to her seemed to be knocked out cold.

"Sorry little hoppers, can't have you stabbing at me like that all day and night..." she mumbled lowly. The green ooze the was leaking out of her body cavity glowed and pulsed as it made its way across the forest floor to her feet, seeping back into the cracks of her earthy armor into the main jelly body mass in the center. Umo Recovered out of habit, not liking the feeling of missing parts of her central mass.

The giant spotted Benison facing off against a scary looking Pokémon to the north of her, the smaller fusion looked pretty badly wounded already. "I can help!" Umo called out as she stomped her way across the battlefield.
