Group RP Pokémon Fusion: Rise of the Hybrids (IC Thread)

"Hang on for a sec..." Altale told the Greninja as she tried to move the wings to his back with her psychic power. A little bit harder that she would expect, but she managed anyway.

 

The Golduck hybrid and the Flygon hybrid had already made their way out of the room. Benison was about to follow suit, until he looked behind him and saw two other Pokémon that have not yet made a move to get out. Not wanting to leave them behind, he called out to them.

"That Golduck is already on the move, I recommend picking up the pace if you two want to catch up to him." Benison spoke, while turning once more to face the other two who are on the run. "You can try getting accustomed to your new appendages later, once were out of here of course."

And with that, he began following the Golduck and the Flygon.

 

Hydro sighed in relief as he was freed from his wings. He looked at his hands to see claws on them. Then looked to his feet to see claws on them two. he looked to his back to see he has a tail with a flame on its tip. Was he a Charizard now?

 

"Ah, coming!" Altale shouted to the Hitmontop as soon as she's done with the Greninja's wings. She immediately grabbed the Greninja's hand to get his attention. "Come on now!" the Ampharos said as she dragged him out from the room.

 

Though the former Greninja almost tripped as Altale dragged he was able to keep his balance and followed her to where the other hybrids were going. He was a bit nervous, what if they had to fight to get out? He was not sure if his moves were still with him for not.

"How are we going to fight like this?" he said.

 

"Uh... not sure," Altale sounded uncertain as she answered the Greninja's question. "We prolly need to get used to our new powers," she continued.

 

Hydro got ready for the battle, though he was unsure if he had any of his old moves. He could see the star shape on his legs, thats where he pulls his Water Shurikens from.

'Would it work?' he thought. He put his hands there and pulled out two shurikens from there. He sighed in relief and then threw the shurikens at the grunts Pokémon.

 

Shale raced after the Golduck, Auron, trying her best to keep up. Behind her, she heard the other Pokémon, doing something, followed by the sound of them following her. For some reason, she felt relieved. She'd hate the idea of anyone getting left behind in this horrible place, even if she didn't know them. Like her siblings...

Just as they reached the exit, several humans descended upon them, blocking their way out. Fear filled her. Behind her lay captivity, and ahead lay another fight and cruel people who just wanted to hurt her. She saw Auron take a battle stance, and Hydro as well. She back away, only to see more humans arriving. Her fear of getting captured again won out over her fear of getting into a fight.

Something stirred inside her. Instinct buried deep within her DNA seemed to activate suddenly, and she opened her jaws, letting out a stream of purple flames. The Dragon Breath blazed across the room, over the heads of the grunts, startling them. She blinked, surprised at herself. Until now, she had been unable to use any attacks. A slight smile grew on her jaws. Maybe they could actually escape...

 

Crikey!
The humans' sudden arrival caught everyone off guard, Altale included. She saw Auron, Shale and the Greninja readying themselves to fight, and so did Altale herself. The branch-tailed Ampharos remembered using Dazzling Gleam on a bunch of Pokémon during one of her tests and it hit them all at once, so she figured that it would be her best attack at the moment. Altale shone a powerful flash not from electricity and aimed it at all the humans surrounding the group of hybrids.

 

Not sure whether the humans can even understand Pokémon language, Altale used her telepathy to relay Auron's furious message to the grunts. This was her first time speaking to humans via telepathy, considering that she didn't even say anything when the grunts got her out from her stasis (?) for experiments. Altale sincerely hoped that Auron's message and rage would make the grunts back off.

 

Seeing as how there were plenty Team Rocket grutns blocking the way towards their possible escape, Benison didn't hesitate to get ready to fight. He had tried to escape and fight these grunts before, only succeeding in taking one or two out before getting dogpiled. But this time, he wasn't alone in his escape. Seeing as how the grunts have already released their Pokémon, Benison began his ginga, to prepare himself for any number of movements. He didn't know who to attack first, but it seems like one the impatient grunts have sent out their Raticate to attack him.

As the Raticate got within melee distance, he threw himself forward and utilizing the momentum, he propped himself up in a hand stand, followed by a twist with the hips, and kicked the offending rat square in the face. Not wanting to relent, he followed the first kick with a second one, successfully sending one of the grunts Pokémon out of commission. Getting himself back on his feet, Benison continues his ginga, readying himself for any attacks.

 

As soon as Auron finished his speech (?), Altale proceeded to use Psychic on her foes, humans and Pokémon alike, to mess with their psyche even further. She hoped it would catch them all off guard since she had been secretly training her mental powers all this time even in stasis.

 

Hearing Auron's statement and then seeing the other Pokémon spring into battle bolstered her courage further. Singling out an Arbok, she summoned the same power she had before, and fired a stream of purple flames.

The attack struck Arbok, sending it writhing backwards. It hissed in fury, spitting a glob of poisonous liquid at her, which she dodged. She followed it up with another Dragon Breath, succeeding in knocking the other Pokémon out. She couldn't help but grin a little, feeling proud of herself. All those hours being forced to fight had paid off.

Just as she was about to set her sights on another Pokémon, Raticate lunged through the air straight for her. On instinct, she fired something like a stream of sticky web, knocking Raticate out of the air and sticking it to a wall. She stopped and stared, eyes wide. Had she just... Used String Shot?

She pushed away her own shock and looked around, making sure her fellow escapees were faring ok.

 

Altale widened her eyes in disbelief upon seeing what just came out from that Pokéball: either a Reuniclus with Golurk's appendages or a Golurk with Reuniclus' core, I dunno. Realizing that Reuniclus is also psychic-type, something popped up in Al's mind.

"Back off, guys! Let me try... to deal with this thing," the branch-tailed Ampharos said as she went up to the Reuniclus-Golurk hybrid before her. She then asked them via telepathy, straight to the point: Tell me, are you a friend? Or a foe?

 

Altale smiled upon hearing the Reuniclus-Golurk hybrid's answer. She came even closer to them as calm as she could muster.

"I don't know why, but the chambers where we slept in opened out of the blue," the branch-tailed Ampharos explained, this time combining Pokémon speech with telepathy due to the loud alarm around them. "My friends here want to break free because they were experimented in here against their will. But with all these humans around us, we're quite in a pinch," she continued.

Looking at the grunt who sent this Spliced one out earlier, Al took a deep breath. "I know those humans want you to fight us, so let me warn you: these guys are furious," Altale warned, then asked the Spliced one before her, "So? What will you do?"
