I keep on finding chikoritas, the events they keep having are really great for my candy counts. Right now is the x4 Pokémon buddies candy, my Mantine sure is happy. How about you guys, any luck with these events for you guys?
I haven't really had the chance to really play Pokémon GO for a while, but my Aerodactyl likes the buddy system event . I had so many chikoritas in the last event, and I also found a super weak Megainum (somehow). I've only found one Rock Type from the rock event, which was Geodude XP.
I got so many Rhydon, Geodude, Onix, Kabuto already from the event, it is nuts. Also, Vulpix and I love the 4X Buddy Candy.
Yep, I caught about six Kabuto on Friday, and a few Omanyte. I was so surprised at the rate of appearances.
I only wish to find more Grass Pokémon. I very regularly get Magikarp, water, and flying type Pokémon, but not much else. Which can be a bit frustrating, so these events are a godsend for my Pokédex.
I've been finding plenty of rhydons, kabutos and geodudes. I hope I can find an aerodactyl soon. I had no idea I'd be getting extra buddy candy, but that's because I accidentally closed the notification before I could read it. I can't find any steel-type Pokémon at all... I hope there'll be a steel event soon.
The buddy candy is basically a quartered walking distance. So you get 4 times as much candy in the same cycle. And yeah, I would like a Steel or Fire event soon. I need my Vulpix candies.
Oh, that explains why the walking distance for my bellsprout was so short. I need a fire event as the only fire-types in my area are slugmas...
I have seen so many Slugma's with the occasion Charmander and Cyndaquil, but never really anything else. A Fire-event would be so helpful.
I liked some of the events but overall they don't really make it that much better I think. Like the frustration of the magikarp event giving golden ones to people who only caught a few and trying for days on end to catch hundreds and not get anything for the effort just isn't in the spirit of an event I think. I also tend to find that I don't need the type events we have now because I use a local map group thing to see what is where (I only have time to play maybe once or twice a week if that so i'm not going to be walking around and leaving it blindly up to chance).
I think it would be a good idea for Niantic would release a fire type event. Because I rarely find fire types in the wild. I've seen a Ponyta and and that's literally it. And I missed a Vulpix because I didn't have any PokeBalls. So maybe if I could at least get the Fire starters I would be happy...
