It feels like forever since I've played this game, but what memories I do have of it are mostly good ones. It felt nice to be out and about with my siblings, exploring locations we likely never would have been to if it wasn't for Pokémon GO. And of course, who could forget all the incidents of your phone dying on you for the third time that day? Good times.
Me, my brother and cousin were all with our parents and we went to get Thai food. The waiter noticed us on our phones and said we were the first people he has seen in there who were not on their phones playing Pokémon go since it had come out. When he left, we pulled up the app lol
Ah, yes, Pokémon Go. Imperfect, but it brought my mother, brother and me closer together. One thing I remember was going to the park with my mom to walk around, catch Pokémon, refill on supplies from PokeStops and most importantly, hatch eggs (We're all on Team Instinct, so Pokémon hatched from eggs are guaranteed to be super strong). One time at the park, we saw someone running around in a Pikachu onesie. As soon as I saw them I said to my mom, "Hey look, a Pikachu!" She perked up excitedly at first, but then I pointed at the "Pikachu" and she laughed. Later, my mom actually hatched a Pikachu from an egg (This was before gen 2 was announced, just fyi). I am convinced that person in the Pikachu onesie was probably a god. ...Or it could just be coincidence. XD
I play this game a lot when i go out. I really love the new gym update and I can remember going on Pokewalks with my sister, it was really nice to both have something to talk to about and just to step away from the hard things going on.
My family enjoys playing casually together, and I remember that first month that my college campus was full of players. I even heard that the security would have to kick people out of the gardens, not for kissing or other lovey dovey stuff, but for playing Pokémon go too late at night.
I remember that time I traveled with my family to Alexandria in Egypt, we lived in an apartment behind the beach. Every single day, I wake up and then use the bathroom and immediately wear my shoes and go outside. Walk from here to a certain place and encounter hundreds of water Pokemons. I took my younger brother with me once and he had fun collecting Rattatas.
Getting my Shiny Magikarp is a happy Memory I have of it. Also the first time I caught my fav Gen I Poke.
I remember going out to walk the dogs and finding my first Dratini. It appeared on the radar and I was so scared that it was going to disappear before I caught it. Then a few days later, two of my eggs hatched into Dratinis, one after the other.
That's so lucky. I have never caught a wild dratini, and I finally got one from an egg last month. I just never get in the right biomes I suppose
Going out with my Little Sister to catch the Event Pikachu out and about in our Neighborhood (X-mas hat). We don't get to bond often so that was really nice. Walking around trying to hatch eggs with my friends was another good one. Sadly I didn't get a phone till Dec. So I lack alot of memories... And more so gained bad ones... But lets not ruin the moment
