A brand new adventure between NekoPantera and Sugar. This story is about 2 Pokémon who formed a rescue team together. When Pokémon go missing, the two decide to find out who is behind it and why. NekoPantera's Pokémon; A Trapinch called Reyn. He starts out at Lv 5 and knows Bite, Sand Attack, Bide and Faint Attack. Reyn is a brave Pokémon who accepts any challenge he gets and strives to be as strong as he can. He keeps his emotions mostly to himself exept for his friends. He is very loyal and will put his life on the line to safe a friend in need, that quality is the reason he started a rescue team together with Sugar's Pokémon. He likes to joke around and often tells terrible puns. Overal is he a nice Pokémon to be around if you are on his good side.
Sugar's Pokémon: A Riolu @ Level 5 nicknamed Summer. Known Moves: Foresight - Quick Attack - Bite - Vacuum Wave Summer is an extremely adamant Pokémon who was always known for her refusal to obey authority. She will never back down from a fight, no matter how strong her opponent is or no matter how badly she is beaten. She has a way with words and can be extremely convincing when it comes down to pressure situations. All in all, Summer is definitely a Pokémon that you don't want to boss around nor want to get on her bad side.
I walked on the road that leads to Summer's house with a huge grin on my face. It was still very early but I could not wait to get to my friends house. Yesterday I received a document saying that we were finaly recognized as a proper rescue team. With that document came our badges, a bag, a map and several useful items. When Summer's house came into view, I broke into a sprint and at full speed I slammed her door open. "Summer! You can never guess what was in my mailbox this yesterday!"
I noticed Reyn walking towards my residence with a huge grin. I knew that she got the confirmation that we were an official rescue team, but decided to act surprised. We've been waiting for this document for as long as we could remember, and today was finally the day. When he broke down my door, I exclaimed. "Is it the document we've been waiting so many years for? Oh god, I'm so excited!"
"Wait, what? How did you know?! Did you develop psychic powers when I wasn't looking?" I was really suprised that she knew, but glad at the same time. "Anyway, the only thing we need to do now is think up a cool team name. And then we can explore as much as we want! Wow, I've been waiting so long for this day!" (Uhm, Reyn is male . Just so you know.)
I almost facepalmed at the question, but ignored it in the end. "Alright, since my creativity levels border around zero, you're going to be the one who has to come up with our team name. I'm really excited that we're finally going to be an official rescue team & I can't wait to explore all of the dungeons we come across."
"Me? Okay, let me think. What could be a cool name for us? Hmmm... What about Team GreenFist? You know, once I evolve I'll have a green colour and you're a fighting type Pokémon, hence the fist. Does that sound cool enough?"
"I love it. I couldn't have thought of anything better myself since, you know why. It sounds pretty cool as well."
"Alright! Team GreenFist it is then! Let's get started right away! We should be getting mail from tomorrow on with rescue requests but I can't wait until tomorrow! Let's go to the post office ourselves to find a request." I could not contain my exitement and wanted to start immidiatly. I believed that together with Summer we could take on the whole world. Nothing would stand in our way to become the greatest team there ever was.
"The post office? Isn't that on the far end of town, a mile and a half long walk?" I shook my head for a few minutes thinking about how tired I'd be when we got there. "Anything to rescue Pokémon, I guess." I finally relented. It was going to be a long journey in of itself, but it was going to be worth it in the end. We do need to prove that we can and will become the best rescue team in this region.
"You better get used to traveling long distances, Summer. It will be good for our stamina." I was actually already prepared for going to the office. From the second I got the document I wanted to start. I didn't sleep much because of that. Anyway, I had brought several of my favorite berries, as well as a couple of Summer's favorite berries. "I've got some food with me, so don't worry. I'll be worth the trip, I promise."
"Well...okay. Let's make the trip...we'll never be able to save anyone if we keep standing around." I finally relented after some time. The trip wasn't going to be easy in the slightest and we may be exhausted by the time we get there, but it'll all be worth it when we complete our first rescue mission.
So when Summer agreed to come with me to the town to get to the post office, we began our journey. The town was quite a distance away and the shortest route led across a small mountain. So the first part of the journey would be the most exhausting one. But I didn't mind, I believed that Climbing a mountain was some sort of training. It was in my nature to better myself whenever I can. Whenever it is about gaining stamina (by making long trips), or batteling other Pokémon ( to gain experience) or eating healthy. It was all so I could become a strong as I possibly can. Being in a rescue team can sometimes be dangerous and I don't want my friend Summer to get hurt, that's why I need to become strong, so that I can have her back.
Something was telling me that I should have stayed in bed this morning. I had a feeling that something was going to go wrong during this journey. Maybe I was just paranoid or something. Nevertheless, I powered my way through the stifling head and exhaustion. When we actually reached the mountain I began thinking to myself. "Look how high the path we have to take is." I took a deep breath and told myself "Okay, Summer. Just cross this path and you'll be less than a stone's throw away."
While we were Climbing the path on the mountain, we didn't spoke much. But I could tell that something was bothering Summer. "What's wrong Summer? I know you don't like traveling to the town, but is there something else bothering you? You more quiet than usual. Do you need a break?"
I looked up at Reyn for a few minutes. "Huh? No, I'm perfectly fine, honest." I said, trying to be convincing. "I promise, there's nothing bothering me at all. If there was, I'd tell you." I added, assuring him.
"Okay, I believe you." We were almost at the top of the mountain when suddenly a strong gust of wind almost made me lose my footing. "Woah! That was dangerous. Don't want to fall all the way back down. But that's strange, the weather seems fine to me. So where did that wind come from?"
I immediately looked up at the sky and replied. "I'm not quite sure, but I think that has something to do with it." I said, pointing at something in the sky. My eyes couldn't make out what it was cause it was so high up, but it was a bird-like creature with a giant wingspan and had an extremely loud cry when it flew over the mountain. It looked extremely similar to a creature that I saw flying over my house earlier in the morning. "Could it be one of the legendary birds?" I thought to myself.
"What is that? I've never seen one like that before." I observed the giant bird and watched as it flew through the air. It didn't seem to notice us, but if it's wings can cause that much wind, it would be best to stay out of it's way. The giant bird turned and flew back the way it came, flying much lower this time. "We should grab hold of something! If the wind it creates gets any stronger, we will be blown of the mountain!"
"This isn't the first time I've seen it either...I think it's following me. It looks like a Tornadus in its Therian form." I looked up at the bird again and my suspicions were confirmed. It was a Tornadus-Therian. My eyes widened in complete and utter shock after realizing what I saw. "Wow...would you look at that. It's so beautiful and majestic, isn't it?" I asked Reyn as I admired it for a bit longer.
