In the thrill of new information about let’s go pikachu and let’s go eevee, I think this cute little game is getting kind of lost. I already have the game downloaded on my switch and I’ve been having a blast so far! I’ve already completed three islands and the timer hasn’t really been bothering me all that much yet. Depending on how much I play through the entirety of the week I might spend money on the 3-pack bundle... Anyways, which starter did you choose? Did you pull any cool Pokémon that you’d like to share? Do you think other generations will eventually get added to the game?
Overall it's a fun little game, cool mechanics and easy going art. The ability to attract new Pokémon via cooking gives players a good goal to focus on, my only worry is what comes after when you get that team. Not sure if there's any online on it, but need to look around more (Think some sort of online would be a good addition though)
Also don't have a Switch yet, so I'm gonna wait until it's released for Mobile devices. But I'm definitely going to get it, I just hope it isn't too similar with Rumble, I really don't like the game series.
I just got it yesterday. The way everything is shaped makes me think of a Roblox version of Pokémon because blocks. Having trouble with getting the types I need, and having trouble finding other things to do for each half hour I'm stuck waiting between expeditions.
Whatt?? There are shinies? SUPER tempted to drop the 18 bucks to get those other three cooking pots...
Wait. There's a /new/ Pokémon game called Quest? Thought for a hot second there it was a typo for Pokémon conquest and got mildly hyped. Dawh.
Started with Bulba because I couldn't help it, even if Bulbasaur has a permanently funny expression on its face. Really love these games! At first I was a bit skeptical thinking they were just super gimmicky, but this is actually really entertaining! Finding out which new Pokémon to meet is the most exciting part after cooking up a good dish, and mixing up ingredients to see what kind of dishes you can cook is really fun in itsel, too. n.n Man the only thing that sucks is just that the game relies on a "battery" system that charges once every 30 minutes in real time so the only way to really get past that is to either accomplish certain quests and/or challenges or just have a buttload of TP (i think thats what it is?), which are given away daily you can buy some as DLC since they come with items and packs. Other than that though, I really like this so far. =O
I started with Squirtle from advice based on what I made my name...Wario. The guy was going to an island just to nab a bunch of treasure. My mind immediately went "Wario." I mean, I barely use Squirtle, (I'm at the boss for islands 2 & 3) and my main team is usually Nidoran/Pidgey/Horsea, but eh.
I admit, I wasn't interested at first. But after seeing everyone else having fun with it, and it was a free to start game, I thought I might as well give it a shot. ...And then I got a high level Growlith early in the game. I am officially hooked.
Quest was fine for what it was intended to be: a fun small mobile game to waste your time on. And it did exactly that very well.
