I guess spoilers ahead?? I don't know how you can really spoil this game, but just in case you don't want to know what this game is about yet. So, given that I had my Apple ID set to the Japanese store, I was able to access the new app, Splash! Magikarp! For those of you who play Survive! MolaMola!, you are probably already aware of the concept, since Splash! is the same thing, except with Pokémon and extra features. Those extra features being... That's right, folks! It's a game about nurturing Magikarp so they'll have the highest Splash attack... Oh, and a fisherman mayor! He sure loves fish puns. =P When you fish up your very first Magikarp, it'll have some "reel" cool information on it! These fish get their own exclusive patterns, so they won't all be standard orange-red like this! But you know, standard or not... he's simply al-lure-ing. I feel a connection already. Mayor Karp agrees: After that, you will be taken to a pond, in which you feed Magikarp berries, so it can jump higher by growing larger. You can also do training sessions to quickly increase your Magikarp's Jump Power (JP). After that, the Magikarp will participate in jumping leagues! Amazing. By winning these leagues, you can get rewards, which will let you get decorations, and items to attract other Pokémon and they can help your 'karps grow. All in all, a great game to pick up periodically, and it's heavily based on the concept of Survive! MolaMola!
lol! It is super dorky. There are so many puns, jokes, and even the music sounds like remixes of other Pokémon games. Have you ever played the game Survive! MolaMola!? It has the same basic concept.
Don't worry! If you want some "catch-y" Magikarp puns and a splash of a time, the game's also available for Andriod devices too! But the North American releases aren't out yet for either one yet.
Thamk goodness... I wouldn't want to mjss out on a gem like this This'll be sooo much fun to challenge my friends to, ehehehe ..wait, is there a multiplayer mode?
I definitely can't wait to try this is it becomes available in Australia, it's got great graphics and simple premise, that's all I need! :'D
This game is awesome. It's pretty silly but hey, it's really fun. Definitely gonna be addicted to this game. :') Hope I can fish up a shiny at some point!
It should be available now in the mobile stores. It is a really nice game. I got a shiny in my third time fishing, you can do it

I've been training up my Karp named Speckles. I can't wait to get it out there and beat the league. 8) Hope I can get a shiny soon...!
I love it! It's a simple fun time waster. >w< I'm also getting whoever's around me at the time to name my magikarp. So far my gran, aunt, work colleague and an acquaintance have named magikarp for me. So far none of my magikarp have been eaten or zapped.
I'm really enjoying it so far. It's really charming and cute. ...Is it bad that I name every Magikarp with Karp in their name? (Karpea, Karpeo, etc.) Actually no. Why couldn't I use Karpia because of bad language!? I don't see a swear!
