Pokémon that really need an evolution

Luvdisc. It's so lacking in my opinion. Like yeah its cute but that's all its got going for it. I don't know what could be made from it though lol.

 

Farfetch'd, Corsola, and... every single pikachu clone.

 

Poor ol' Dunsparce.
So much potential wasted. It could be so much more if it had an evolution. It once had the possibility of being the first Normal/Dragon type, before Drampa came around.

 

Or, Dunsparce could evolve INTO Drampa. Eh?

 

why is alomomola not a luvdisc evolution
then again alo itself is pretty underwhelming too, so whether or not it was an evolution wouldn't make much of a difference towards its usability...

Other than the obligatory Dunsparce, I'd like to see something done with Carnivine also. It's one of the most forgettable mons in the whole game and there are some neat concepts they could explore for an evolution.

 

Every non-legendary Pokémon that has no evolution, perhaps minus some gimmicky or single-purpose Pokémon like Ditto or Unown. I realize there are a lot, but I still find it weird that this thing that almost every ordinary species does, just a sliver of them simply don't. in addition to Dunsparse and Luvdisc, I'm talking about your Corsola, your Stantler, your Heatmor, your Komala, and beyond. All of these feel like they deserve to grow and expand in their lifetimes.

 

Eevee because we can't have enough eeveelutions!

Seriously though, there are a lot of Pokémon that need a second stage. Since a lot of my choices have already been taken, I'll go for ones not selected yet, Minior, Sableye and Heracross.

Heracross is a great Pokémon, but its dated. It came straight out of the second generation as an amazing attacker, but in the seventh generation it falls behind. An added evolution would allow it to catch up with the other powerful Pokémon of modern times.

Sableye just needs an evolution. Its crap stats but great idea and the mega just makes it usable, not good. Simply put, it needs the boost in stats.

I love the idea of Minior. I get to use a shooting star Pokémon that looks amazing (when its not a pile of rocks), but when I used it, it felt more like a gimmick than a good Pokémon. The constant switching between stats mid battle always kept me conflicted as to what I wanted this Pokémon to be, do I want a tank or a sweeper? And with the stats constantly switching, I could never build the Pokémon around either. Not to mention that over time the gimmicyness wore off and I found that this Pokémon isn't very good in the first place. I would love to see this Pokémon get an evolved form that threw away the ability and chose between offense or defense (maybe which form your in when you evolve determines what you get) and I also would like it to look awsomer. This Pokémon already steals my heart for cool Pokémon design but the Pokémon its attached to just needs the boost.

 

For everyone's information, if you google mega Dunsparce, you get some pretty amazing results.

 

I personally want to see Seviper and Dunsparce get evolutions. My friend tried to tuna dunsparce and it was.... bad.

I personally like using a Seviper on Pokémon showdown for the lols. But I’d like to see it be more powerful.

 

A shot in the dark considering how forgotten it is, but a Maractus evolution sounds nice in my head. It's only good stat is 106 sp. attack; even then, a stat like that is not considered to be really good anymore I think. An evo would definitely give an opportunity to fix things.

And well, I just want more of a reason to like and use this bunny-like cactus. Because it's cute, and could evolve into something stronger!...And cute.
