Artists out there, or doodlers in general, what are the Pokémon you find yourself drawing most frequently? Is there a reason for it? What does this Pokémon mean to you? Could you show us? Tell us if you've improved!

When it comes to Pokémon, I tend to draw Pikachu, Plusle, Minun, Mew, Fennekin, and Absol. I first started to draw Pikachu due to my character being a Pikachu at night thanks to her curse. I also started to draw Plusle since she's my character's partner (two Plusles are at least :P). And since I can do Plusle, I'm assuming I can do Minun as well since the two are kind of the same. For Mew, she (I'm just saying it's a female) another Pokémon that is one of my character's friends. For Fennekin and Absol, I wanted to work on my dream team for the other oc that represents me: Plusle (shiny), Absol, Reshiram, Flygon, Fennekin (shiny), and Azumarill. When I first drew Mega Absol, I was pretty proud of myself for doing him for the first time. So, I decided to try and do more.

Here are some examples that I've done and improved on some of the Pokémon drawings

I feel like I improved a lot for the past 7 years. I'm still learning on how to draw them, but I will do my best on drawing them.

It's not very specific, but I just tend to draw Pokémon with simple features/are easy to draw. So I usually draw Pokémon like Bellsprout, Ghastly and Ditto.
It'd be hard to show my improvement because most of them are doodles on sheets from old school workbooks I'd have to dig through, but I can show some reference sheets from a PMD Deviantart group I'm in:

I always liked umbreon, and so found myself drawing umbreons a lot of the time. I'm still super bad at art, and don't have any scanned examples here either, though I have improved some. Mostly, I have trouble forming the shape at first.

I've found myself drawing Absol quite a few times, maybe because its one of my fave dark types?

Here are some (oldest to newest)

In terms of improvement, for my colouring skills I have, though these above examples don't show much. Its more evident on other drawings ^^". But now I don't 100% copy the reference picture. I've slowly learned to use my own creativity, so that's another improvement I guess.

I tend to find myself drawing Sylveon a lot; the bows and ribbons are just so fun, and I really love its colour scheme. On the other end of the spectrum, I've found myself drawing Zinnia a lot as of late, which is a human rather than a Pokémon.

I often draw Oshawott. Not just because it's so simple, but also because it's one of my favourite Pokémon. It's the only one I've ever googled an "how to draw"-thingie of. I sometimes draw it just for fun, not because of a reason.

I draw Houndour and Gastly a lot. This is because I'm on a PMD group on DA but also because I love them too much and they are my precious babies.

I end up drawing zoroark a whole lot, I just like the design of the Pokémon. Aside from zoroark I draw mewtwo, giratina, and absol fairly often as well. I'm still just okay on that front, but I've certainly improved so I'm happy. :)

Pokémon I draw often are Reshiram, Mewtwo, Ho-Oh, Suicune, Tornadus, and some Pokémon I made up. Hopefully I can show you some doodles soon. I have vastly improved over the years, along with my sister, who frequents in drawing Zekrom, Arceus, Lugia, Entei and Thundurus, but mainly Zekrom.

As for Pokémon trainers, N, Will, Silver, Red, Blue, Gold, Green, Yellow, Lance, Giovanni, Ghetsis and others, mainly from Pokémon Adventures.

I find myself drawing Pikachu a lot, probably because it was the first Pokémon I got into and it's just easy to draw.
    ... I also draw Gijinkas a lot.
