lol anyone catch any shinies with this? whats your longest chain? wheres a good patch to use??????

i keep trying different patches and some patches must be too small bc it stops after like 4 pkmn, then others i cant see the shaking bushes bc the patch is too big.

Never used it, not even once. I sort of wish I had though.

You should try and catch one then, I'm going to try it too to help eggs.

    Anyways, back on topic!

i like the apps that diamond had at the bottom of the screen. i am using the poke radar app and its just, so nice and convenient. i can see which chains were my longest and what is my current one.

You can get a Pokémon with the Magma Armor or Flame Body ability by going to either the Fuego Ironworks and catch Magmar or by going to Stark Mountain and capture Slugma/Magcargo (It's been a while since I last played, so I hoped I named those correctly).

I've used the PokeRadar before, mostly unsuccessful, but it works. It takes a lot of time and patience to build up your chain and it will fail a lot. I recommend finding a tutorial on this and just follow the steps carefully. Also, try starting small, like Route 202 so Static so that a Shinx may appear more often. Eventually, a shiny patch will be visible and you can see what to look out for later on. Then once you are experienced, you can try areas with snow, rain, sand, etc. in order to get the rarer pokes. I hope this helps!

Highest chain is 77- magnemites. I didn't even use static or magnet pull, I just got lucky. Ive chained a stantler, swablu (favorite), and elektrike successfully. Outbreaks are the easiest to chain, and some good routes include sendoff spring or the one south of I think hearthome where theres some rhyhorn, poochyena, and houndour.

take those free tips and share with others too,you need to stock some repels since you always battle with those moving plants(this tip is the best);try to do in a big area cuz the max squares the moving area is from you is 4 and you can loose space, but if you loose you can always keep your chain by using again your pokeradar, just don't use your bike
never try to battle(unless you are at 40) a sparkling grass cuz there is a chance to be a rare Pokémon in there you it will break you chain >:(
i always have my awesome "buzzer" in hand cuz it have false swipe and bug buzz soo i can kill or catch
and last tip, there is 3 types of grass, the moving(normal Pokémon),the moving 2(moar cool pkmn but stel normal) and the sparkling(a shiny will be there)
the chain you want to do should have 40 pkmn(cuz more than that will not help) and then you should try to go on sparkling, also, the chance at 40 to catch a shiny is 1/200(prety cool hein?),you can know if you are doing right by having the right poketech in hand
its a slow process so i always try to do boring stuff when im drowzee
    sorry for misspeling anything :s
