Star and I stayed outside we perfered it and we never slept inside if we could help it. w like two little eevee we lied in a a bundle close together.
Virgil dropped Ki off with one of the Pokémon Center's nurses and crashed on the couch, letting his ralts, Ral out of her Pokéball. "Wake me up at sunrise, 'kay?" he mumbled before drifting off.
In the middle of the night me and Star wake up to do our nightly training since we found out we could control 'becoming one'. we focused on our bond then we started fighting each other, I know it sounds weird but it's effective. we make some noise enough to wake some other Pokémon at least if not half of them in a half a mile radius.
When Ral woke Virgil up, it was still dark outside. He groggily scanned the walls for a clock at read 12 : 30. "Ral, it's the middle of the night..." he groaned. The ralts ignored him, peering out the window from where she was perched on the back of the couch. She watched the girl and her umbreon training in the silvery moonlight "They are a peculiar pair, aren't they?" she mused as her trainer muttered something under his breath and tried to get back to sleep.
Fortunately, it was late enough that nobody roamed the streets, and they were safe from prying eyes. While Virgil was finally able to drift back to sleep, Ral watched them spar.
Finally we 'become one' and it was and we were both stronger. I had her powers and she had my strength we kept at it to make the bond-power go deapper
Out of the darkness, a voice sounded, echoing down the almost empty street. A tall man with green hair was talking on his phone in the doorway of a building, constantly glancing up and down the road to ensure nobody was listening in to his conversation. "I know we're running a bit behind schedule, but it should be in the next town by now... No, we're not being followed. Nobody's after us, the plan's still going smoothly..."
Ral stayed awake awhile longer, watching the man closely. There was something about his demeanor that made her feel uneasy. She considered following him, but she was too low-levelled to put up a fight if she was caught, and she doubted Virgil would appreciate it if she woke him up again. She saw that Lunar and Star had gone back to sleep. The girl and the umbreon intrigued her, being unlike anything she had ever heard of before. She rested her head against the windowsill and slowly began to fall into a light sleep.
As Virgil picked up Ki's Pokéball from the nurses, Ral visited the two of them and told them about the suspicious man she saw last night. "He fit the description of one of the poachers." she remarked as Virgil approached them, "I wonder who he could have been talking to."
Ral nodded, "Most likely. I don't think they know we're after them yet." "Well, that's a relief." Virgil said, letting Ki out of his Pokéball, "Let's try and keep it that way. We may be in danger if they find out that we're trying to stop them."
Virgil rolled his eyes at the idea but he couldn't help but smirk, too, "That's... Actually a pretty good idea."
"We'll need a way to communicate though that others can see or hear to remain unsospius though" Star points out.
"I can set up a temporary mental link between you so that you can communicate telepathically for a while." Ral offered.
