"Well, that's her dealt with for now." Virgil says, checking his phone for a map of the city as he tries to find the Gym, "I wonder what she meant by 'check the Gym', though."
Virgil frowns, "You think he might be the Gym leader?" he muses, "I suppose that could explain how he was able to get the resources to poach on such a large scale."
Virgil nods, "True." he said, "He might not have to be the Gym Leader, he could just have good connections. I don't know which is worse, having him be the leader of a town, or him having another powerful trainer that also runs this place under his thumb."
Virgil paused, "Yeah, I can't help but agree." he said, "I'd rather fight just one powerful trainer than two." he holds up his phone, "The Gym is just a few blocks away. From what I can gather, the leader uses Dragon-types."
Still a little shaken from the attack, Ral sits on Virgil's shoulder, nibbling on a popcorn kernel. On the way to the Gym, he stops by the house so she can trade places with Ki, who's still at full health.
The trainers look a little confused when nobody says anything, "Do you want to challenge the Gym?" one asks eventually.
