So I know this game is already challenging, and that there are no wild Pokémon. But you do capture Pokémon. My thought is that you may still try and capture every shadow Pokémon. Each battle will count as a new route, and the rare occasion a trainer has more than 1, they will count as a single entity. This is to balance out two MAJOR extra challengeshowdown this game brings to a Nuzlocke. You can't run from any battles, and a few tournaments are essential for completion. In a Nuzlocke, if the wild Pokémon is whooping your butt, you just run, and you sacrifice that encounter. With this, the only way to sacrifice an encounter is to defeat the shadow Pokémon. If they are kicking your butt when you are either trying to simply weaken them or catch them, then you are still in trouble trying to faint them, arent you? The tournaments heal your Pokémon in between. But what if they die? You can't release them in between. So if a lead Pokémon dies, you have to switch out this dead Pokémon to another on the first turn. So you lose an attack, and take damage. With these things adding up to your Pokémon not standing too much of a chance of living, are you really going to say "I can only get one per city" or "This person has 2, I'll only catch 1"?

I'd like to read your feedback, as to extra rules, or how insane this seems. I actually plan to do this.
